When I had some extra money from my income tax return...I said...hmmm...I'm going to treat my mom and myself to an excellent restaurant by the airport...
Off I go and pull into the parking lot... Enter the hotel and proceed to the restaurant... Heeey...everything looks really fancy and cool..
The waiter comes up and asks...if we would like some wine...and without looking, I ask for my mom's special..Zifindel..and a bottle arrives..
Then we ordered the best steaks in the place... and they came out just the way I like them...totally awesome...
The service was excellent and then...the finali of the evening...the bill....
I gasped for air...and chocked on my wine.....wow....what was the that total? I spent $162.00 including tip for two people.......wow....I'm such a.. S U C K E R.... but...overall...everything was superd....except the bill.
What a joke! Don't sell your soul for cookies, guys (even though their cookies were pretty darn good).
This place is definitely shady. If you have a choice, go to the Holiday Inn a block away ( http://www.yelp.com/bi... ), ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE TAKING THE BAR.
Let me tell you why:
- The AC does not work.
- They take advantage of you because they know you're taking the bar.
- Sodas - 3 bucks.
- WIFI - PAY!
- Want a fridge or a microwave? 60 bucks extra a night.
- Want a flat-screen tv? Fuggeddaboutit.
- Want a view of grass - extra 20 bucks.
- Want late checkout? Pay an extra 20-40 bucks.
- Want cookies - okay, okay, this is the only redeeming thing about this place.
Holiday Inn has everything for free and it was cheaper than what my friend paid to book this place. The equivalent of my 127 a night room at the HI would cost about 240 a night here.
No joke.

Having family that travels around for work i have been accustomed to business class suites even on family trips. In this case, I was here for a wedding anniversary in the middle of bumf**k nowhere aka the inland empire.
The weekend I was there it was all chill. Glad to get away and not do anything at all. Lots of swimming in their pool with a real deep end (8ft).I Brought out the cooler and put back a few Hienkein in the hot tub. They don't care what you bring in as long as its not in glass bottles.
We did eat at the breakfast buffet (not sunday brunch). It was ok, standard hotel buffet food offerings. Bill was 360+ tip on a party of 16. We used our vouchers so we didn't really pay anything just a tip. I like how they had juice carafes already out so you didn't have to bug your server for drinks all the time.
Rooms were clean and quiet. I think we were the loudest people in that whole hotel. Loved those cookies. This one is a standard doubletree. I've been to others with large rooms that included a living room area with a sofa bed. In this situation the most important thing to me is the bed. Their freaking beds are awesome. Love the linen too. It doesn't smell like cheap chlorine detergent. I could sleep in that bed all day.

It's too bad the Lakers lost while I was eating at this place. Maybe it would've received an additional star.
The eggs benedict wasn't good at all; very dry and bland. The omelet needed way too much salt for it to taste good. The sausages had a sweet flavor to them, which totally ruined it.
On the upside, we didn't have to wait long for our table. The service was ok for a busy Mother's Day morning so I can't really rate this place that bad.
I may come back and try the steak house, but I'll probably never go there for brunch ever again.

What a rip! DON'T STAY HERE EVER!!!
Some friends stayed here to take the CA bar exam in the Ontario Convention Center right next door. They freakin' took advantage of the stressed-out, tired and confused bar takers.
While every hotel/motel around there provides free wireless, free refrigerators, full kitchens, free breakfast, etc., this place charged a daily fee for the wireless and refrigerators. What a jip!!!
Plus, on the last day of the three day bar exam, most hotels allowed a late check-out for bar exam takers. This place charged an hourly fee after the noon check out time.
DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!! All the neighboring places are nicer and provide more free amenities - Marriott Residence Inn, Country Inn by Carlson, Holiday Inn, etc.

I am reviewing the Sunday brunch ONLY.
It is served in the Porter's Steak house restaurant and is fantastic. Carving station, peel and eat shirmp, crab legs, lox, several hot dishes a crepe station, a waffle station, an omlette station and OY the salads....and the desserts...the desserts....I am salivating thinking about it....PLUS sometimes we get $ 5.00 off coupons......on occasion. Fab food and with a coupon....it's like girl heaven.....
My head is spinning just thinking about it....hmm today is Friday, maybe we will hit it up this Sunday! There is free champagne...or should I say it's included in the price of the buffet which runs you about $ 25.00 to $ 30.00 bucks a head...I can't recall which.
Oh and the coffee is quite good.

Spent 2 nights here with the family, the rooms were neat ,clean and quiet. Coffee machines in room clean and ok tasting. ( Wolfgang Puck is now /selling coffee)...Abundant parking availible
Room service was timely and the food was good.
OK the cookies are everything people say they are....
Used the free shuttle to the airport...all employees I encountered were happy and helpful.
Did not use the restaurants.
Stayed there for eight nights -- it was a wonderful haven after days of work and/or sightseeing. Staff was very helpful and considerate, room was comfortable, spacious and clean, and yes, the cookies were great!
Caveat: I am only reviewing the cookies here.
Yes, you heard that right. Cookies.
My favorite all-time favorite cookies come from these Doubletree Hotels. They serve them up all nice and warm for you upon check in. Their cookies are like a tiny slice of heaven.
Sure you can buy these puppies in a nice little tin, but, sometimes it's just much more gratifying when you get some great deskers who are super nice and will give them to you free even after you've checked in.

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a conference. I was pleased with several aspects, and displeased with several others.
Good
-Large room, with good layout, nice large desk with comfortable chair.
-VERY comfortable bed with excellent blankets/sheets, as good or better than my bed at home.
-High quality toiletries, replenished every day.
-The desk and bell staff was superior, helping me with some boxes I had delivered and needed for the conference.
-Shuttle driver was also very friendly.
Not-so-good
-I had to pay the "upgrade" to get access to the on floor lounge which gave me a decent (but not deluxe) continental breakfast each morning and access to a computer/printer, which i ended up needing to print some things.
-Had to pay extra for internet (I think about $18 for a 3 day pass?), which was not very fast.
I will have to try the hotel across the street next time I am in this location for a conference, but I would certainly stay at the Doubletree again, without a doubt.

Welp, here's the review for another trip for Double Tree for their cookies alone. Things just don't change around here. The cookies were just as good and just as warm as before. We sent our official smoocher James S. in to fetch us some delicious cookies. Apparently, Double Tree's cookie warmer machine was broken so they had to warm the cookies up in other ways.... um... possibly in their armpits? In any case, their cookies were so dang warm still. How do they do it even without their warmer?

I was here for a conference the other day, and here's the scoop. I thought, darn, a "double tree" how "eh". Well, turns out, this was one really really NICE place! The lobby is large, nice gift shop with everything from snacks to clothes. There is a night club there, but a REAL club, complete with bouncers to keep you in line. Multiple restaurants, a business office where you can get to a computer if you need one (of course we all carry notebooks, but still). The rooms all have wireless and wired Internet, and the grounds are beautiful. There is a little gazebo and stream in the back, really slick! Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the layout is a bit odd, to get to my room I had to take one elevator UP, then another DOWN, a bit odd. I would stay there again!
