I was in town for my sister's wedding (9/10 - 9/15/08), and it was such a pleasant experience to stay at this hotel. Plenty of free parking, beautiful lobby and grounds -- not too "hotely," warm chocolate chip cookies, nice-looking room with mini-fridge, safe, and large flat-panel TV. Comfortable bed with down pillows and comforter that's definitely been kept clean, since the cover was just a sheet. I was thrilled by the Neutrogena products in the bathroom, as I hadn't been able to bring my face wash from home. Friendly staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Great gym with new TV-equipped Precor elliptical machines, treadmills, and a bike. They even provided headphones and fresh one-use-only headphone covers if you forgot yours. Free weights, medicine balls, balance balls, bosu ball, mats.

If I'm ever back in the Bedford area, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I can't stay with my sister at her apartment.

At the DoubleTree in Bedford for a week.  I travel for work so I'm in a hotel most nights and the DoubleTree is pretty nice.  Greeted at the front desk upon check-in nicely and given a warm chocolate chip cookie - yum.

Got to the room and everything in the room is nice and clean, i always check, the maids here do a good job of cleaning the little cleaned places.  The beds are nice and soft and the pillows are better than most of the Hilton's that i typically stay in.

I forgot my shaving cream and called the front desk to ask if they had any, said I'd be right down to get it but they insisted I stay put and they'd run it up, very nice of them.

The gym is pretty nice for a hotel gym, my only complaint about the gym is that its right next to the pool and the pool smell/chemicals/fumes are very heavy in the air, i work out pretty intensely daily so always breath hard, but difficult to do that hear with the fumes.  The equipment is pretty decent, just the air is rough.   Also a bit of a nit-pick but right behind the weight lifting machine is the desk where the attendant stands directly facing you... kind of weird to have someone stand and watch you work out... had thought of doing ridiculous flexing motions but opted not to... have a few more days here, still have a chance to go thru with it!

Other odd note- I get free cont breakfast with being a hilton diamond member so i turn in a voucher.  They still give me a bill and make me write room number, name, and sign.  I found this very weird, I stay in hotels 50 weeks a year and this has never happened before.  Also the breakfast buffet without my voucher is like $15 bucks and would def not be worth $15 if it was not free.  Consists of this every morning: cereal, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, smoked salmon (not so fresh), sausage, potatoes, fruit medley.

Overall really nice hotel, if I work in bedford again I'll defiantly  stay here, no complaints.

Heather's preview is right!

As a chain, Doubletree's are nice.  They are the cheap Hilton without staying at the sketchy places where you know they've never washed that comforter from 1976.

This one was much more like a Hilton.  Flat panel tvs, stylish interior, great products (I do like the free lotions...) friendly service and a VERY reasonable price.  Starbucks coffee in the hotel (I could even get my soy latte!) and free internet access.

The hotel is out of the way if you are here to see Boston, but if you are in business in the Burlington area, I would highly recommend checking out the availability at the Bedford Doubletree.

I was here for a wedding.  It's not to shabby, for a double tree, I guess.  The bed was a little too cushy and soft for me.  I need a hard bed.  Just sayin.  Their staff were okay too.  Great spacious room and bathroom and nice neutrogena products.  Not a bad place if you need a room in Bedford.

I have stayed at both the Doubletree Bedford Glen and the Burlington Marriott, I must say, the Doubletree takes the cake!!  Best service I've come across in a long time!  Convenient hotel shuttle service, cozy atmosphere, fantastic staff, and amazing food.  I look forward to my next stay at the Doubletree!!
