I was extremely impressed with this hotel. I stayed one night there this past Friday. We took the orange line to Midway and called the Doubletree because they have a shuttle that can pick you up. Apparently both of the shuttles were booked for the next 2 hours for weddings so the young man working told us to take a cab and that they would pay for it. Nice!
The inside of the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and spacious and omg the beds are amazing!
Oh, and I can't forget those cookies!!! When you check in you are given right-out-of-the-oven cookies and they are delish!
The hotel staff were all wonderful---from the front desk guy, to the bartender, to the shuttle drivers. If you are in the area and need a place to stay, this should be the place!

Lucky me! :-\ I served on a jury panel for 6 days. The last day of deliberation we had to be secluded due to the fact we could not come to a unanimous vote. So were do we get sent???? We got sent to this wonderful hotel in the south suburbs.
Due to the circumstances I did enjoy my stay at this hotel. The front desk service was remarkable and they even had fresh out of the oven cookies for all us jurors. Our rooms were very clean and neat. They did provide us with all the toiletries we needed. The room even had facial wash, moisturizing face lotion, body lotion, shampoo & conditioner, mouth wash and 3 different types of soaps. Our beds were amazingly comfortable with down pillows and a down comforter. We also were surprised that each room received water, soft drinks, chips and fresh cut fruit!!! Yum!
In the morning we were all gathered up and we had a buffet style breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious and hot. They had all types of breakfast items for everyone even if you were watching your weight or not there was something for you.
I will definitely keep the Doubletree Hotel in mind when I really need to find a hotel to stay at!

Damn cookies are addicting. What a marvelous gimmick and it works lol. The hotel is not bad either for what they charge, great staff at the front desk.
