I'm not a huge Mexican food person, but I decided to let someone else choose. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas and they were ok, not extremely flavorful. The "avocado salad" was good, big chunks of fresh avocado in there.
It was like $9 for 2 enchiladas and 2 small scoops of guacamole. I kind of felt ripped off.

I'm surprised I haven't gone here to eat before. They have daily specials on a board right when you walk in so I just go it to save time. On my visit, the special was a two cheese enchiladas topped with fajita meat and rice and beans on the side for about 8 bucks. Food was pretty good. Also their chips and salsa were great as well.
They have drink specials !!!!
I'm not sure if it's because of happy hour or what day it was, but they have 1.50 domestics and 2.50 imports. Their margaritas were 2.50 for a small and 5 for a large. The margaritas were fantastic!
Inside there's plenty of seating room, a nice mini full service bar, and it's decorated quite nicely.

The food is NOT bad. Just like any typical restaurant, items are hit and miss, depending on the tastes of the individual. I happen to love the chicken flautas and the carne asada. As another reviewer commented, the prices are great, and I love their frozen margaritas. Service is terrific and many of the patrons who frequent the place are known by name in this neighborhood spot. I would call it Dallas's best kept secret.
The food is amazing and fairly priced, and the service is fast, even on busy days. I highly recommend the sour cream chicken enchiladas.
This is some of the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted, save some money and go to Taco Bell.
