I've found tons of really cute things here. I don't shop here nearly enough. They always have cute cupcake related things to help quench my obsession. A little pricey though.

Cute store.
Part Sur la Table with their houseware items like Henkel knives, pastry mold, pans and cookie cutters, wine gadgets and glassware.
They also have a nice selection of clocks... coo koo clocks and regular. There is some stationary like notecards and celebration/greeting cards. A lot of nice gift items and knick knacks and I LOVE me some knick knacks.
I was here to buy 2 Bday card's one for DH and one for BFF's DH and 2 Mom Day card's one for my Mama and one for DH's mama... yes, I must do EVERYTHING! I will let him pick out of the 2 I got - they work for either mama's.
Staff was super friendly but I got jipped. I got charged for four cards and only three cards were in my little bag. I called them when I noticed but they close at 6 pm. Bummer!
But I will still go there. It's cute and its in Downtown Pleasanton!

I have to agree with many of the Yelpers who've reviewed Domus: it's a fun place to shop for men and women! My hubby always has fun browsing this store because of the sheer variety of cool things here! Every now and then, he'd call my name and say, "Look at this!" It's really cute!
They have lovely dishes, and barware. I come here when I need to find something for someone, but I don't know what it is yet. Know what I mean? This is an excellent store for finding gifts!
So next time you want something, and you don't know what it is yet, go to Domus and all will be revealed....
muahahaha!!

I love Domus. They have an extensive selection of fun household items, and is a great place to get a gift. Their prices are the same or better than Macy's. They have parking, which in downtown P town is a real asset. I understand they can be aggressive about non-Domus shoppers parking in their lot, but I have not experienced this personally. Oh, and my hubby would not find this the slightest bit fun...but he is a true non-shopper.
I love shopping at Domus! It's a great place to find a gift or get something for yourself! They have a great selection of cooking gadgets and serveware.
Grrrreat place for gifts (and when you want to spoil yourself). They've got a really good selection of creative items. Some things can be a little pricey here, but other things are reasonable. Definitely drop in if you are downtown Pleasanton.

Domus...a lot over priced, on most items but what the hell I am shopping on Main St. In Pleasanton, what do I really expect?
This store has some very interesting and unique gifts if you are looking for something special to give.
The best part about this store...at Christmas Time they have four or five fake trees full of unique and wonderful Christmas ornaments.
I love to give ornaments as gifts, they are personal and can be used over and over...when you get old they can even be re-gifted or passed along.
Best store to find unique gifts... or special kitchen supplies... it is like a Sur la table and Papyrus combined... all in one store.

Really, really neat things here. An excellent place to shop for gifts (and gifts for yourself, also :) ). It is also a great place just to window shop and look around.
The prices can be a bit on the high side but they seem to be worth it.
ok sure i'm a guy but i can spend hours just browsing all of the things domus has to offer. in the days of the mega stores it's good to have domus around as a locally family owned business. i love having items for the kitchen, bath, outdoors and other areas around the home. books cards, wind chimes and the coolest gadgets are everywhere. my favorite thing i found was a lite for the faucet that shines a stream of blue light water when i get a glass of water late at night in the dark. domus makes for a great time of shopping in the great lil town of pleasanton.

when i first walk in to this place, i think, 'hey cool place to browse around in.' then like clockwork, 10 minutes later i gotta get out. i don't know what it is. kitchen gadgets and expensive plates and happy coffee mugs and calendars and garden stuff...tick tick tick....BOOM~ gotta get out. so if you are someone who loves this stuff, you'll love domus.
if you're a guy who is ok with it to a point, it's a great place to go in, spend 8 minutes looking for a gift for wife or mom, let them giftwrap it (which they will happily do) and get the heck out.
tip: spend the 8+2 minutes on thurs of fri evening and afterward, go directly across the street to the wine steward for their kickass wine tastings.

This is a great little store for all of your unique gift needs. They have everything from housewares, to home decor, to stationary to gardening things. It's a fun little place to look around. Some things are on the pricey side, but chances are you won't find anything more unique around.
I remember going to their Los Gatos location when I was growing up and was surprised to find a couple of years back that they have a store here in Pleasanton as well. Domus is a nice store: about half of it is devoted to country-ish style decoration, stationary, wrapping paper, and other similar goods, while the other half (the half that I'm interested in) is a well stocked upscale kitchenware and housewares department that carries all sorts of kitchen gadgetry, cutlery, pots & pans, and plates, dishes, and glassware. It's the kind of store where I rarely buy anything, but I enjoy looking around.
