How can you not LOVE the Dollar Tree Store? Picture frames, linen spray, candles, cards, party supplies, cleaners, canned food: their canned whole tomatoes are the best. Even their frozen food items are good. Bubble bath, candy, etc. The Dollar Tree rocks! Plain and simple. Those who say they'll never go into one: I say GOOD, more stuff for us!
A couple of days ago, I went to the Hallmark store and spent $9.00 on 2 gift bags. $9.00 for only 2 gift bags people!
Last night, I skipped my way over to the trusty Dollar Tree Store and got gift bags, wrapping paper, bows, gift tags, cutesy gift decorations - enough for several presents - for less than $8.00!!
Oh, how you make me smile Dollar Tree Store.
Dollar Trees are great places to get cheap things that cost a whole lot less than you would find at a drug store like Walgreens or Longs Drugs. If i went bankrupt or ended up living in a studio with five other people I would not mind in the least shopping for food there. Since I'm not, I'm pretty wary about the food they sell (they even have frozen foods!).
Use Dollar Tree for:
- Your holiday decorating stuff -- the glittery centerpieces, for example are cheaper than the four, five dollar versions at Party City.
- Storage items - they have a lot of food containers, mini sized crates, buckets, bags/trash bags, etc.
- Cheap gifts - Everything from chintzy party favors for kids, to little knick knacks you could spruce up, somehow, for small gifts
- gift giving accessories - wrapping paper and cards
I agree with the disorganization, it's not that great, but they manage to keep products in its general area.
With the money you save up from using Dollar Tree, you can then run over to a Wendy's, MacDonalds, or other fast food place and get a handful of dollar menu items!
Location: Across from Newpark Mall, and in the same plaza as Rasputins Music

It's a treasure hunt! Don't look for too much customer service here though. Lots of good deals to be had. Big bag of Pixie Stix...$1! Note pads, post-it-notes, gift wrap, cards, etc. all only $1! Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of cheap stuff here that I would never buy, but somethings just really don't matter.
Don't ask if they have more of something in the back, because they won't check and don't plan on getting in and out. They never have more than 1 cashier working. Also, plan on hunting for deals. This place is always a mess. You can copy and paste this review for 90% of their locations!
Crowded, slightly messy, and long lines are the standard whenever I have been there. I don't really trust buying any of their food there. It is, however, the only sane place to go to get gift wrap and gift bags. Don't go into a Hallmark for overpriced gift wrap/bags ever again. They have a big selection here and all for only a dollar. If you can brave the lines, it will save you big money when the Holidays come.

Across from the Newpark Shopping mall, a medium sized store and pretty messy on a Saturday afternoon but not crowded at at. Now have a fridgerated and frozen food section to all their other $1 stuff. Had to stop off for my 2 for $1, 24oz Shasta Tiki punches and found some old time candy from my past like jeweled candy rings(4pk), dots(8pk) and candy necklaces(6pk)....ah the candy of my childhood.
