I HATE HOW THIS PLACE IS SUCH A MESS , BUT I LOVE HOW EVERYTHING IS A DOLLAR! i can come out of this place spending 100 bucks, but seriously, i find myself buying, plastic cups, paper plates, chap stick,  dental floss, hot cheetos, calenders, monthly planners.. I SWEAR THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!

This is the new Dollar Tree store where Albertsons used to be in the Berryessa Hills shopping center, which is right at the Berryessa light rail station.

I've never been to one of these before, but it looked quite organized and well-stocked.  It certainly blows the pants off some other dollar stores I've been to where everything is knick knacks.  There was nothing for me to buy on this trip, but I was just in the neighborhood.  They had a holiday section, which would come in handy if I was into decorating the home, hehe.  Some other things they have: bathroom, kitchen, cleaning, gift wrapping, and stationary.  They have a much better selection of food than Daiso.

Overall, I recommend Daiso over this place, even though it is 50% more expensive! :p  Daiso also has the Japanese twist on things, so if that bothers you, stick with Dollar Tree.  The store isn't anything more than what you expect, but it still provides a few good deals.
