This is a five-star DG! To me DG picks up where the variety stores died out.
Nothing out of place in this store, and there are some fantastic deals on things you thought you'd never need or necessarily be able to find again.
Decent grocery section, including all the necessities like bread and milk, although you won't always find the brands you are familiar with. Great household/hardware selection and some inexpensive clothing. Fast courteous checkout, and close-in parking. And it's all new merchandise priced to sell.
If you live in the boonies, before you drive in to HEB or Homey Despot, give this place a try. You may save a lot of gas and find a cool place to shop to boot.
