Pretty great ballpark. Go Dodgers.
The all you can eat pavilion is pretty awesome as long as it's not 100 degrees outside.

I love the Dodgers and I love our home stadium in Los Angeles. I've gone to so many Dodgers games and have sat on all levels. There is never a bad seat, well, maybe there is, my point being that you'll have a good time no matter what.
Dodger fans are not afraid to show there love and can be loud at times. If you're not up for that, don't go to a ballgame. Avoid me at all costs because I'm one of the loud fans. Not the obnoxious type I hope.
The food is well, ballgame food. The food is the best on the lower levels and this last week I was lucky enough to seat on field level and order food here too. Can you believe they have veggie dogs? This was great for me and I didn't feel left out when everybody else was eating a Dodger dog. The Gordon Biersch garlic fries are like an highly addictive drug that consumes my thoughts as soon as I enter the heavenly gate of Dodger Stadium. They are very oily, though, Not always good, but I love greasy, garlicky fries. So good yet so bad. There is plenty of beer on hand including margaritas (yes) and wine for you sophisticated fans.
Once you get your food, I'm sure you will have a great time with friends, family, fans, food and your home team. Enjoy and don't forget to stay for the ENTIRE game. Don't leave early, please. Us fans stay 'till the end.

What's not to love? Baseball? Dodger dogs? 7th inning stretch? Men in pants that show off their ass? Loud, rowdy crowds, the occasional give-a-way, beach-balls snuck in, and "I Love LA" played at the end of every win??? And, Ladies - TONS of GUYS are in the stands... it can be a fun place to meet men. All are part of the joy of seeing a game here.
My favorite seats are in the Left Field Pavilion - really fun place to sit (even met people here and hung out post-game at the Short stop) - and they were only about $9 -11 bucks a seat. They sell out quick, but you can rebuy on ebay or stub-hub. I've also sat in section 13 of the Top Deck - also fun place (but not if afraid of heights). The Top Deck Store has the BEST fan stuff for sale. The lodge seats are ok if you feel like spending a dime. Finally, if you have $500 to blow on a seat... the Players Club is AMAZING. You are so close you can see the dirt grains and blades of grass on the field, you have a waiter who serves you all you can eat/drink (except alcohol) for free, and their is all you can eat gourmet food inside with things like carved turkey and prime rib.
No matter where you sit, wear dodger blue, or if you must be true to another team, be respectful and cheer, but don't heckle the Dodger or the fans will get mad and rowdy.
Parking is $15, or you can park near Elysian park - but walk in a group because my nephew you and I ran into a seedy crowd on our way into the field. Stick along the street and you should be OK.
Be sure to wear the right team colors, or fear for your life. Tradition...if you like that kind of stuff, you'll like Chavez Ravine. I'm not much for it, so it's whatevers. They've upgraded it to look nicer, but still very "ordinary" (I guess that's another word for traditional) for me. It's a bit "ghetto" well at least for so than the other LA team. The food here is pretty standard. Dodger Dogs are overrated. Just a long hot dog. Garlic fries are too garlicky...I realized I'm not a fan of garlic fries. Peanuts cost more than a Dodger Dog. I'd rather have another Dodger Dog. Parking is $15... much more than Angels Stadium, but CONSIDERABLY LESS than AT&T Park.
As for the Dodgers, the team itself, they've screwed me over with trading too many of my favorite players, that I'm no longer a fan!
The Curse of PIAZZA!!!!!
I was driving to Silver Lake yesterday from Downtown and got stuck in some horrible slow traffic. Ah, Dodger Stadium traffic. I was chatting with the valet-phile and she said something weird like, "I hate baseball games."
It was a good thing I was stuck in traffic because if I had been actually driving, I would have screeched to a halt.
Shauna: "How can you hate baseball games!? They're so much fun. I love baseball games."
Valet-phile: "What? You? You hate sports!? How can you love baseball games?"
Shauna: "I love Dodgers games! I love the 7th inning stretch. I love doing the wave. I love yelling at the opposing team. I love singing, 'Take Me Out to the Ball Park.' I love knowing I'm sitting with a bunch of other crazy baseball game lovin' folks who like to sneak in random beach balls to throw around."
Valet-phile: "Wow. I guess I don't know everything about you. This is coming from a woman who hates football games."
Shauna: "True. Football games are boring. But I like tailgating."
My elementary school is next to Dodger Stadium. I grew up with the crossing guard giving me baseball cards, going to games with my grandpa, eating Dodger dogs and merrily cranking the relish machine.
I miss the hand-cranked relish machine. One of these days I will make a superfluous purchase and buy an old-fashioned hand-crank relish maker. C'mon! Your very own relish machine! How fun would that be?
I hate relish packets. They've ruined everything.

OK, I'm not a Dodger Fan. I don't even like Baseball, but,
This was an incredible experience! My company reserved a section in the field level (rows 2-7) near third base. Our package included entry to the Baseline Club (a restaurant and bar that provides all-you-can-eat food and non-alcoholic beverages. You just pay for the cocktails, wine & beer). The food was decent- they offered everything from salad to gyros, to marinated chicken to middle-eastern rice. And of course- Dodger dogs. It gave some sense of elitism to walk past the door manager and bouncer into this very exclusive place. Almost like being on the VIP list at some snazzy club. OK- so that was my 15 minutes of fame....
The best part of the package was definitely the seat location- we were right next to the dugout and managed to get a few autographs from the players on our company logoed baseballs. One of the most rewarding things was that our group had some extra tickets which we gave to a family in the parking lot-- a single mom with her three daughters. They were overwhelmed when their favorite player autographed their baseball- it was great to watch the girls jumping up and down in excitement!
So I would do this again for a small group of people-- even if the tickets are $110 - 180 ea. What a great experience to share!

When you give something a 4-star rating on Yelp, the caption next to the stars reads "Yay! I'm a fan." At the risk of angering the readers of this review, I have to admit: I am NOT a Dodgers fan. I cannot give this place four stars; I just can't. I love the Giants, so . . . Beat LA!
That said, Dodger stadium is pretty cool. I am not going to compare McCovey Cove to Chavez Ravine or compare our giant (no pun intended) HD scoreboard to your tiny low-definition jumbotrons. No "my dad can beat up your dad stuff" here. Although, truth be told, McCovey Cove is way better, HD rules, and my dad can totally kick your dad's butt. But I digress.
I was reading some reviews of Dodger Stadium, and, as always, someone says "there's not a bad seat" in the whole ballpark. Oh really? What about sitting in section 58R in the upper deck behind the foul pole? That can't be good. I sat in section 107 behind home plate, but my seats were too far from the field. I still had a spectacular view of the action, although I was not particularly close to it. It's understandable, though, as all older ballparks were built this way. I am willing to sacrifice proximity to the field for being a part of history: Robinson, Snider, Reese, Koufax, Drysdale, Hershiser, Gibson . . . "3,000 years of beautiful tradition, from Moses to Sandy Koufax." Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Sitting higher up affords you spectacular views of Chavez Ravine, ruined only by the THINK BLUE sign (again, I am biased). When you're at Dodger Stadium, you can't help but feel relaxed and at peace with the world. It seems to have worked for Vin Scully, the best baseball announcer of all time. There, I said it. There's never been a better storyteller in the history of baseball. Ever.
Now, here's something that I *know* will cost me a handful useful/funny/cool votes: Dodger dogs. Man, I had heard so much about them, I couldn't wait to try them when I got to the game. I bit into one, and . . . bleech, what IS this? It tasted like a Vienna sausage on a white Wonder bread bun. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't a hot dog. Sorry.
Still, it feels as though the fans here cannot handle too much of their beloved Dodgers and Dodger Stadium. Arrive in the third inning, leave in the seventh. If Takashi Saito saves a game in the ninth and no one is there to see it, does it even count?
Please check out my reviews at http://giants.yelp.com and . . . Beat LA!!!
I grew up in a family of Angel fans in Orange County, so it was obvious I was bound to hail the halo... but that would not be the case.
I don't know if it was Fernando Venezuela, Kirk Gibson, Steve Garvey or because I liked saying "Steve Sax." I'm pretty sure it was due to the most successful decade in club history and my determination to always go against my family.
I had a couple chances to come here during my childhood, but it wasn't 'till last summer that I truly absorbed that...this is really a shitty stadium. I couldn't help but feel like I was stepping into a time-machine. The seats are old and uncomfortable. This place is in serious need of some TLC.
I've been to some nice fields, and this place is nowhere near the comfort and esthetics of the rest. But what it lacks in beauty it oozes in history.
My Dodgers beat the Angels, so the rest is forgiven.

I'm not really a baseball fan because I love all the action in Footbal and Basketball. My friends invited me, but I orignally declined because I did not want to end up falling asleep in the game. I gave them this explanation, but they did everything to persuade me to go there.
I bought the Dodgers Jersey and a cap while I joined my friends. This was last year against the Diamondbacks. We sat at a place where a foul ball couldn't hit me. The first thing I thought about was what to eat and I got the Hotdogs and drink. They tasted really great.
The crowd were awesome and there were no fratties or teeny boppers sitting next to us. The game was scoreless for a long time and no action was happening. Too many fly outs and ground outs, not enough strikeouts, scores or homeruns. Unfortunately, I ended up falling asleep in the 5th or 6th inning. I was awaken when I got hit upside my head with a Home Run Ball. Luckily I was wearing a cap and the momentum of the ball was weak. I felt like Homey the Clown hit me with his sock to say while I slept at Dodger Stadium, "I don't think so, Homey don't play that!" My friends took the pic and put it on their myspace page titled "Wake Up Call at Dodger Stadium."

Does going to a Dodger game justify a Dodger dog, nachos, beer, chips and a chocolate malted ice cream cup?
Yes.
Comped tickets - $0
Comped parking - $0
Food - Priceless... my ass... I paid like $30 + for all the junk food I consumed!
This was the second time I've been here... and apparently, I heard we were sitting in some awesome seats - Field Loge or something like that... but all I kept thinking was... game? What game? And after 6 innings of nothing but eating... thought... "ooooo... that cotton candy sure looks good!"

Even though I am lifelong Angel fan, I still enjoy going to Dodger stadium as it seems to connect me back to a legacy of baseball fans that have observed a great tradition of baseball. I think of going to the ballpark in the summer, hearing Vin Scully on the radio as it drifts out in the pavilion seats, some of the classic games that I saw in high school with my buddy Gerald and of course some great Angel-Dodger matchup when I lived in LA.
Definitely an LA staple
It took me 23 years as a native Angeleno to get to Dodger Stadium. It took me about one hour after my first game to buy tickets to my second game at Dodger Stadium. I've got to make up for lost time!
The parking cost is totally exorbitant but it's easy getting in and out (given that every person showing up is in a car) and despite the size of the lot, spots are not very far from the stadium. Our infield reserve seats were awesome and the Dodgers beat the Mets 5-1. Hurrah!
I wanted to get a 50th anniversary hoody but $60, psssht! Highway robbery, I say. Baseball has been the traditional American pastime, replaced in modern times by shopping and spending money, so I can't fault the team for trying to meld the two and keep cashing in, but c'mon now.
Still, having to walk out wearing my same old lace Misfits skull sweatshirt wasn't so bad when I remembered the home runs, salted peanuts, little birdies flying around the stadium and the 9 innings of fun I had and plan to have again in 2 weeks time.

Coming from Europe I only knew and loved soccer (still hate this term). Until I met the Yankees as I was living in the East Coast. I fell in love with them and Baseball and I call myself proudly a Yankee fan and a Dodger supporter.
One of my goals in live is to visit as many if not all Stadiums in the US. I've been in Dodger Stadium many times and found out a few things that are important to me.
1. I do not go to Top Deck, it is a waste of time, money and fun.
2. I do not sit in AYCE Pavilion, it is annoying as a small blather. You have to get up every time to let people pass that want to eat, eat and eat. When you stand in a line, and realize that you are waiting because all the food is gone, and you wait for a for ever for a new ship load of Dodger Dogs. You miss to much of the Dodger experience out there.
My favorite spot is the Left Field Pavilion, get seats as close to the field and enjoy yourself. Chances are that you catch a ball, play with the 99 cent beach ball, do the wave and have fun with all those drunks (they are really hilarious).
Make sure you wear no other gear, but Dodger gear unless, you like to be the center of all attention and function as a public garbage can.
Another cool thing is you can bring your own peanuts, sunflower seeds, Subway's, Quizno's and so on. I actually saw a guy with a couple of Little Cesar Pizza's, and O yeah you can bring water and soda's.
Other seats I prefer are the once as close to the field, but my budget does not allow it all the time. They did a lot of renovation to the park so some of the old con's are gone. It is always fun to go and to root, root, root for the Dodgers, especially when the Giant or Padres are in town.
Ta-ta-ta-tatata.....................Charge!!!!!!
Come on! This is the place that brings back any Angelino's childhood! Oh! I love this place! If you don't like it? Please, help yourself to the Angels Stadium...
Lodge tickets are $30, parking is $15, 22 oz beers $14, Dodger Dog $5, watching the Dodgers win...priceless......

It may be one of the oldest stadiums in use, but age certainly does not detract from its beauty.
First of all, its location is spectacular! I don't think there is such a great view from the parking lot of ANY stadium, anywhere. Perched high in the hills behind downtown LA, the colorful lights of downtown loom in the not-so-distant distance. It's simply breathtaking. I've never been so happy to be in a parking lot in my life.
The stadium is among the largest in the MLB, and if you don't park near where you're seated, you may find out just how big it is!
Architecturally DS is incredibly engineered with good views throughout. If you sit in the loge section, the concessions are at the top of the steps, and you can still see the field while ordering a Dodger Dog...and of course there are plenty of televisions broadcasting the game so you don't have to wait in line backwards.
The food prices were quite nominal for a sports venue...but the beer prices at first appear off the hook! I almost passed out when I saw that a regular sized beer was more than $9.00. I let out a sigh of relief when I realized a regular sized beer is actually 24 OZ....not so bad.

So I moved to the US in 1992, I got my papers to prove I'm a citizen a couple years later...however, I didn't feel like a true citizen of the US of A until I finally attended my first baseball game today...2008.
So this is what it's all about hu??? After pitchers of margaritas at La Parrilla, we headed over to the Stadium...great easy parking, good crowd! I loved the numerous concession stands....and short lines for all your needs! I was even given a Smashbox lipstick & a pretty red rose on my way in! $12 jumbo size DosXX? yeah, that was expected. What wasn't expected was the extreme heat...holy hell!!! Cold beverages helped with that though!
alcohol + direct sun light + no sunglasses + no hat = sleepy Maneli hiding from the sun
I had a great time though & we were sitting pretty damn close...we had some ice cream in a dodger helmet & cheered for both teams and I tried to pay attention to figure out how this game works!! I'm down to go again........next time I'll be more prepared for the weather though! =]

Sure the Dodgers have won just one playoff game since 1988. Who cares when you can get 5-dollar tickets? There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Traffic is always bad and parking is the real crime ($15), but it's usually worth it. Family-friendly most of the time, except when the team gets behind by a lot or is playing the Giants. I've seen some pretty nasty fights. I've sat behind the plate and way up in the top deck and I still love it.
The stadium and parking lots provide great views on summer nights, and the stadium has a very relaxed feel. Just be sure to stay standing in the seventh inning: Nancy Bea plays "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" twice. (That's how you can separate the casual fans).
Cheapest pro sports tickets in LA.
My first Dodger game!!!!
No, I had no idea what was going on.
Yes, the line for the women's restroom is long here as well (like everywhere else in the world).
Yes, the BLINKY DODGER CUP is cute.
Yes, I had a great time.
Dude! What is up with the STEEEEEP steps! I am VERY much afraid of heights and steps and all that is scary, BUT it's a good thing because once I sit down, I will not move from my seat. No NO no NO. No going up and down those scary steps man, especially with all the kids running around.
Regardless, I had a great time (even though I didn't stay long) and it's fun watching the game in person. On TV is pretty darn bland (sorry all you fans!).
Wessie was explaning the game to me, the runs, the outs, the scoring, etc... Do I remember? Not really but it was exciting! OK GUYS LET'S DO THE WAVE!!!!!!!
Oh! There was a proposal too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW CORNY yet SWEET. Awwww.... and the kiss cam. Awww...... I wanna be on there one day dammit!

There's always something masochistic about coming to Dodgers Stadium. I mean c'mon, real baseball fans don their Mets cap, hop on the subway and roll down to Shea. Oh wait, we're talking about the Dodgers and the stadium located in some forsaken place called Chavez Ravine!
With that out of the way, I love the Dodgers. I always love the crowd, even if they may be a bit more scuzzier than the Angels variety. Love the food. Plus, the concessions renovation on the field level is AWESOME. It's so great that the non-baseball fans I took to the game had a great time.
Recipe for a great ballgame at Dodgers Stadium:
a) Field-level seats are a must. Shell out the extra money, it's WORTH it. If in a money pinch, the lower reserve behind home-plate is a great time too. If you buy your tickets off a season ticket holder, get the preferred parking pass, it makes parking so much easier.
b) A Super Dodger Dog with the fixings.
c) A large draft beer.
d) A bag of peanuts.
e) Another large draft beer.
f) If you're still hungry, some Gordon Biersch garlic fries for dessert!
Oh and please don't be a typical Dodger fan and arrive at the 2nd-3rd innings and leave by the 8th. Enjoy the whole game, it's worth it.
Play ball!
I've been a little spoiled lately, going to Dodger games. My boss, who is a long-time and faithful fan, has had season tickets for many years. Every baseball season, though he goes to nearly all home games, there are a few he can't make, and so he hands them on over to me. They are pretty good seats and include preferred parking (free!). My past Dodger game experiences were always in the left-field pavilion seats, back when they were about $6 and Raider fans, moonlighting as Dodger fans would take over and "liven" up the place a bit. Good times, good times.
Now, to be completely honest, I'm not exactly a baseball fan (i'm a 'futbol'...er...soccer fan), but I'll support a home team any chance I get and I'll definitely go to a game if I can get my hands on some free tix. Really, it's the beer that gets me.
Went to Game 3 last night against the much-hated Giants and had a great time. Um, thanks to the pre-game drinking at the local Barbara's At The Brewery (aka Barbara's - http://www.yelp.com/bi...). Apparently, when my boss was there on Monday for Game 1, he sat right next to Mia Hamm and the twins and often sits next to Dodgers players' families. I guess last night's threat of rain kept the families at home. I saw no one, not that I'd recognize any other wife or girlfriend.
Our seats were great and the beer was flowing and good times were had. Light rain kept us from staying there for the rest of the game last night, but it was still fun.
Dodger Stadium is definitely a stand-out place in our lovely City of Angels.

one star for the food.
the stadium was nice and clean..so i'll add 2 for a total of 3 stars!
so i've never been to a MLB game until 5/24. and what a disapointment!!
well, it wasn't all that disappointing.....the food was the most disappointing part of my first time to a baseball game!!! people go to games to have fun and ENJOY FOOD!
instead we had fun and ENJOYED getting ripped off for some NASTY hot dog and nachos!! if I hadn't arrived starved i would've gone to carl's jr, had I known earlier!
skip the hot dogs and nachos at this stadium and go for what you are accustomed to.....carl's jr and CPK!!!

Go Blue, all day every day, oh yea, I said it. What? Huh?
I love Dodger Games, the stadium is pretty big it's and It's one of the few stadiums that does maintenance on it's seats and stands every year on the off season- now if only they can do something about the parking and exiting.
The food and beer... well, they are steep price-wise, but it's kind of mandatory to have a Dodger Super Dog, peanuts and a cup of beer or two, I mean we are at a baseball game right? Well this time some friends and I got tickets at Travelzoo.com and got Ground Floor, Inbox Seats, that normally cost about $55 for $17!!!! Happy Cinco De Mayo to us indeed. The best part about sitting on the Ground Floor, no Trough in the Men's bathroom, fellas, you know what I'm talking about- the strange passage to manhood that every boy faces when they go to a Dodger game... oh you know exactly what I'm talking about.

With all of the new ballparks out there, Dodger Stadium is one of the older ones around. It's held up well, especially with the McCourts putting some money into the place. Well worth the trip for any real baseball fan!

Dodger Stadium may be old, but its still awesome. I had seats in the top deck but the view was still great. This is how baseball should be. Played outside in the sunshine with thousands of fans screaming for their team. The parking situation is not that bad either. It took only 15 minutes to get in and out of the parking lot. That's pretty standard fare for any baseball game. The lack of public transportation is mind boggling though. I guess thats LA for you.
The Dodger dogs are a different story. After all the hype I've heard about them, they really disappointed. Ive been to about ten ballparks now and they are easily the worst I've had. I'm glad I didn't get the all you can eat tickets because I would have been forced to eat these terrible dogs all day.
Another lame thing about Dodger stadium is that if you are sitting in the top deck, you can only go to the top deck of the stadium. One of my favorite things about going to a ballpark is walking around the entire stadium. Also, looking down at the other levels, they had a wider array of food establishments.

If you don't like Miller Genuine or Bud Light, don't sit in the Pavilion Level because thats all you get!
They cage you in like rats!
The MAN is afraid to let you wander to other parts of the stadium because they believe cheapness is some kind of air borne disease that will spread rampant throughout the rest of the stadium if they let you out!
Just because some don't want to pay over $15 for a place to sit doesn't mean that no one is willing to spend money on food, alcohol, or oversized hands!
Due to the MAN stigmatizing the Pavilion crowd into some rowdy poor fools, I no longer get to choose which brand of ten dollar beer i want to drink myself stupid with! Two beer choices. Two concession stands. Only one working churro machine. "Thats all we will let "THOSE PEOPLE" have."
It is outrageous and I won't stand for it.

This is heaven...pure heaven. when i die...i want to be buried in left field....so i could haunt the opposing left fielders.
i love this place...the smell of the grass on the field...seeing the wave pass through the whole stadium...to the beautiful sound of the sweet spot of the bat connecting with the ball to knock it over the left field wall.
i love baseball...and i love the Dodgers. Dodger stadium is practically a second home for me from April to September. it's awesome to go have a good time with a date, or to go with your buddies and have some dodger dogs and beer. it's just a great place to be on any night.
as much as i love this place...there are some negatives. parking always sucks...but that's normal. but there's also always that occasional drunk who starts acting stupid, who knows nothing about baseball and ruins the game for you. i always hope a foul ball hits this person in the face...but oh well.
just go to dodger stadium...just go now

Welcome a new season of baseball. With it comes some changes to the team after 50 years of being in Los Angeles. First off, what's there not to like about this stadium?
The question comes up as to what's so good about baseball? It combines to of my favorite past times. Watching the Dodgers and eating great food. When you sit for hours you have to occupy the
They did major reconstruction and renovation to the field level concession stands. Now to the list of foods that you can get on the field is Canter's. Holy crap. CANTER'S! Oy! Though something about Matzo ball soup for $7.50 just doesn't sound very kosher. On the flip side, it's a Canter's Matzo ball, so it'll be the size of a baseball.. at a baseball game! In ordering a fairfax tonight the computers were down but considering it was a pre-season game, the service was quick and to the point.
Other new dining establishments were a Ruby's stand, which I really couldn't care about and Camacho's getting their own stand on field level. So no more one line to get your massive nachos.
If you want to get more high brow, there's two new dug out clubs like the stadium club on the field level. each for the base line seats offering some top notch food.
Or you can go into the classic Stadium club that overlooks the area from right field and has a bar that I've made it a habit to get a drink from.
Of all the dogs in all the parks I've ever been, the Dodger Dog tops them all. Though may I suggest splurging the couple cents more and going with a super Dodger Dog. While I put my trust into mysterious meat in tube form, I like to the taste of the higher quality wiener. And while it may be a sin in several locations, I do put Ketchup on my dog.
Vince Scully is the one soundtrack to summer that you need and with this new season starting and the additions they put into the park, I look forward to going more and more.
So with all that and the new look of most of the park, this place is a must. Even if you are a transplant from another land with a different team you follow, make it a point to get to Dodger Stadium during the summer. It's simply a must.
But on a sad note, this review almost got only a four star because part of the renovations removed the troughs from the mens restrooms from field level. If you don't know what I mean, then you're a better person than I. But the men, for as long as I can remember, you had to pee into a long trough. Insane, I know. I should accept change. But it's like changing Vince Scully out. You just don't do it. But I come to terms with it because they have these new hand blowers in the rest rooms. The future, I tell you, is in the way you blow dry your hands!

Had the opportunity to attend a dodger game with clubhouse access; definitely off the hook!! Everything is all you can eat from dodger dogs, peanuts, cracker jack and even an ice cream bar. In the back of the clubhouse there is also a salad and fruit bar as well as barbeque/grille section with an unlimited supply of meats (well not unlimited as they shut it down at the 7th inning stretch, but definitely unlimited up till then).
Peep out the pics i posted.
And you will never know who you would run in to, Alyssa Milano is a regular there as she rocks her own clothing line at the dodger's store.

I love Dodger stadium, the team and the crowd. The best baseball experiences I've ever had the the true reason that I stand a proud Dodger fan, away from this home of mine all the way in Boston now. Red Sox territory sucks. I'd much rather go to a Dodger game. I can't describe why, it's just that everything is so perfect. The parking at times can get a little hectic but at least there's parking. It's so quiet at there.. and the warm summer breeze on a nice warm day... or in the evening... You can't beat it. No way. Never.
Go Dodgers! Go Blue!
PS: The Dodger dogs are the best in the league. Hands down.

Never a big Dodger fan, but the first week out in LA meant a trip to Dodger stadium. The weather was beautiful and the hills surrounding the stadium made you feel as though you weren't located in the second largest city in the country. We were seated in the top tier shouting along with everyone else while having a great time. Baseball, beer, beautiful weather, hot dogs. Couldn't really ask for more.
I have to give kudos to the McCourt's for rehabing the food establishment in the lower levels of the stadium. Everyone gotta try the Ruby's stand and their cajun fries. Huge fries for 5 bucks. The sliders are also good in that place. The bathroom...what can I say...is paradise (compared to what it was before)! I can actually see around and no need to bring my own LED lights. It is environmentally friendly by having flushless urinals and solar powered faucet fixtures. That's awsome. They don't have all of the renovated bathrooms yet in all parts of the stadium, but I hope they get it done next year.

In my opinion, the best Dodger Stadium around.
No there really are more than one. Google it.
Every year I wait patiently for LA's dreary winter months to end and dream of the day that I will, once again, take to the stands with a cold beer and a Dodger dog to celebrate an American past time by drinking heavily and eating way too much crap.
I
What is it about those dogs anyway? We all know it's not meat. We all know they'll probably kill us. Yet, I can't resist eating dog after dog to the point where I have to lie on my side in the car on the way home with my little Cheetah belly hangin' out.
Please don't change Dodger Stadium. I like you just the way you are.

Holy crap, baseball season is almost here again!
I've not had the pleasure of going to all or even most baseball parks in the US, but I've managed to make it to quite that I believe help me form my opinion on Dodger Stadium.
I've been to Wrigley Field, guess what? That thing is falling apart. Its old and classic, but its almost too old. Dodger stadium is 46 years old, but at no point have I ever sat worrying that the section above me was going collapse and kill me.
Petco Park is modern and flashy. Its also named for a pet food store. Seriously. There's no charm. No history. Plus the Padres play there. Boo.
Anaheim Stadium is interesting. Its been around nearly as long as Dodger Stadium, but over the years it has been bastardized. First they tried to play football there adding extra decks in the outfield to resemble a football stadium. Then the Rams left and they turned it back into a baseball stadium. Then they put some sort of funky waterfall and stuff in the outfield. Seriously WTF is up with that?
Now Dodger Stadium is classic. Nearly 50 years old, it has the history of the LA Dodger franchise. Retired numbers and pennants grace the walls. Vin Scully's voice greets you at the gates. Vin Scully! You've got Dodger Dogs if you want to go the classic route, but if you want something more modern feel free to grab food at CPK. This season, we've even got Canter's Deli. Who wouldn't love LA after taking in a Dodger game while eating a Canter's corned beef sandwich? The infrastructure of the stadium has been continually upgraded while not infringing on the classic looks of this concrete mountain. Dodger Stadium truly is my home away from home, and its a beauty at that.
Now if they could just figure out how to properly run a damned parking lot! I generally park on Stadium or Academy and walk in to save $15 and 30mins after the game.

What did they do to Dodger Stadium?
Back when the O'Malleys owned the Dodgers, the only advertisements were the 76 sign on top of the scoreboard (later replaced by the Coke logo) and some more 76 signs on the infield fences. Then Fox bought it, and they started putting all this crap on the outfield walls. It's pretty amazing that L.A. was the final city to succumb to the ads on the outfield walls. (OK, Wrigley doesn't have them, but the stadium itself is a corporate name, so there.) Then they went and made it worse by putting more seats in the infield, ruining the huge foul area. Oh well, at least Orel Hershiser's consecutive-scoreless-innings record will never be broken now, by a Dodger or anyone else.
It used to be fun to watch games here, but the last time I went, it was like being at a completely different stadium. It was like a combination of Anaheim Stadium and a USC football game. That is to say it was not pleasant.
Purely as a baseball stadium, it's still a gem. The non-pavilion outfield seats are good, and although the highest seats are definitely nosebleed, the vast majority of seats have great sight lines.

After completion of 2008 renovation - having been able to make a comparison of Field Box Seating & Lower Reserve Level Seating I gotta say Field Boxers have got it made. We were literally a few feet away from all the appetizing food selections & beer availability. They serve one awesome Turkey Dip Sandwich at Canters & YES! we found Turkey Dogs as well for my non-pork or beef eating man. So much cleaner & lovelier than those Reserve Seats!
For Opening Day we were in those Lower Reserve Seats and that renovation didn't touch this area. Lines were long like always - taking you 2 innings to grab a few beers & grub - missing out on all the Dodger action, sucks. Where ever I got in line the tvs were off as well so it made the wait even longer - another downer. Nothing convenient about it.
I've been coming to Dodger games for some time but for the first time this season I've purchased a Mini-Plan to catch those exciting TH night games & lazy SUN day games. My seats are in the Lower Reserve so it's a given I'll be back in those god awful lines again, no choice. I just wish they had better selection in food for those not so carnivorous eaters.
11 years ago I temped at Dodger Stadium keyboarding merch catalog info. The corporate office was in the basement of the Stadium, and it was always freezing down there. I hope they've moved out since then, but I doubt it. Mike Piazza was about to leave and the hottest player on the team was Hideo Nomo. It was a funny job; even if you didn't like baseball you were going to get an education about it.
Since a drafty office turns a young man's fancy to peeing we had to go upstairs to the Stadium and use the primitive facilities. It looked like they hadn't updated the bathroom since the boys moved in from Brooklyn!
Every day was interesting: some afternoons Tommy Lasorda would be handing out Dodger jerseys and shit to the Make-A-Wish foundation tots down in the field. We could watch up in the bleachers and scratch our balls.
The pay wasn't beautiful but there were Dodger perks galore. We got to eat lunch up in the Press Room like Vin Scully. We also got a big discount on Dodgers merch: I bought a wicked Dodger Bobble Head t-shirt that looked cooler than the Bobble Head itself. Since the catalog had to be out in time for Opening Day my last day was on Opening Exhibition Game. We got food tickets for the snack bar upstairs and got to watch the game as long as we stayed up in the superhigh nosebleed seats.
As the sun went down I walked all the way across the 100-mile parking lot (I was car-less back then). As I trotted down the palm tree-lined hood I heard gun shots ring out and thought, well, I'm in no danger. It wasn't the sound of crime, it was the Police Academy shooting range across the hill.
