Dmitri is a true professional. When there was a mis-communication (totally my fault) about me accepting his bid he not only fit me into his schedule on the same day but he did a really amazing job as well.

This guy ROCKS. He knows trees, and what branches can and can't be removed without killing the thing. His estimate was a fair price too (maybe too low, quite frankly, for all of the time and effort he and his crew put in). He did what was discussed, cleaned up perfectly after the job and the final bill came in at the price of his original estimate.
Last Spring I contacted three arboritsts (or wanna be's) about a large job in my back yard. Several responded (two were from Yelp) but Dmitri was the only really responsive bid with a full quote, knowledgeable suggestions, and complete current insurance coverage. Surprisingly, he was also the lowest price.
Dmitri arrived with a crew of three others as promised. He and his crew worked all day and did a magnificant job on one large eucalyptus and three towering pines. They were careful, considerate of the neighbors' properties, and paid good attention to the details of the job. Only small problem is that one of the helpers didn't cut up cuttings from the trees into small enough pieces for me to manage through green waste over time. I wasn't home to check that at the end of the job.
Dmitri is a consummate professional. He'll definitely do any more tree work I may have.
It was a nasty, rainy day and a huge chunk of one of my acacia trees broke off and leaned against my neighbor's roof. Dmitri and his crew were here in no time and had the problem solved before the neighbor even knew there was a problem. (whew)
He's great to work with, he has always come in under his original estimates, and he leaves the grounds spotless.
I plan to use him again soon to remove the evil eucalyptus that pollutes my side yard.
Every since we moved in this house last year, we'd like to do something about the trees in the back yard.
Bck in June 2007, I got a name and number of one tree pruning company from my landscaper, but that company was fully booked. That company recommended Dmitri Tioupine Tree Care instead. It turns out that Dmitri was great person to work with. Dmitri not only talked to us from his professional experience but also spent time to talk to my neighbors and made sure that my neighbors were comfortable about trimming the trees. At the end, another neighbor wanted him back for a different project.
Now I have a good sunny back yard. I highly recommend Dmitri's service!
Dmitri was great. He came out exactly when he said he would and spend a while talking with us about our trees. He had a lot of good ideas about how to shape the trees to keep them healthy and looking good. He and his crew showed up on time, did a great job very quickly, and cleaned everything up. I will certainly be using him again and recommend his to anyone.

We needed to cut the tree hanging over from our n'bors back yard and our other n'bor. We needed a professional who could take some limbs down while respecting the integrity of the tree, clean it up, respect our n'bors yard and ours. We also wanted someone who had a license. Dmitri and his assistant were very focused, thorough and knew what they were doing. They were very good. It was like watching a tree ballet. No hemming and hawing. The place was very clean when they were done as well. He did what he said he would do. I highly recommend him.

We chose Dmitri based upon the Yelp reviews. The only thing wrong with those reviews is that he is even better than the reviewers said. While it would be great for Dmitri to be a secret to be shared with friends, that wouldn't be fair to him. Everyone should try to use Dmitri for tree service. Our trees look sooo good now, and his guys clean the place up beautifully after they are done. He works hard, he has a great crew, and he is really nice to his crew. Thanks to Yelp, and thanks to Dmitri.
