This is a great local bar in the Remington/Hampden/JHU area.  The large menu is filled with pretty good, fairly cheap, food.

I'm lucky that when I want to go to a bar that I can walk to from my house, I can come here. An excellent night out here doesn't even come close to breaking the bank (I could drink $2 pints of draft Yuengling till the cows come home), the staff is friendly, and the crowd is always an interesting mix.

The digital jukebox means that anybody can play pretty much whatever they want, sometimes with hilarious results... be prepared for anything from Boyz II Men to Minor Threat.

I love this place for two simple reasons:  the fireplace and the cake.

First off, the burgers here can NOT be beat. They are cheap, made of high-grade beef, cooked to order (YES, they WILL make them rare) and ALWAYS delicious.
They have Stella Artois on tap, an awesome jukebox, and the most eclectic crowd of anywhere in town.
Plus, for you fanboys and girls out there, Charm City Cakes of "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network, is right across the street.

Great crowd, atmosphere, and beer selection
Sierra Nevada pints are poured plentifully, and on the cheap.  Happy hour is a great way to get your night kick started.  I think that the beer is $1 a pint, could be wrong on that.

I was here a couple saturdays to be entertained by a DJ spinning club, house, punk, and jazz. All while rocking a captains hat.  The floor was bumpin, almost to the point of collapse.

To top it all off you cat sit in a barbers chair in the bar area.  A choice of seating as peculiar as Dizzy's itself.
