tired of carrying your crap around disneyland? the lockers are perfect! :D
$7 - small one
$10 - big one
i suggest getting the bigger one if you have a backpack/lunches. the lockers look small at first, but they can store so much. even blankets/jackets for later if youre staying during fireworks.
i just wish the lockers were scattered around disneyland : l we kept having to go all the way back to Main Street just to get something.
Not needed if you're a local. If coming for the 1st time, rent the large one & bring your own food, water and maybe some umbrellas(rain or summer heat) and store them here.
It's kinda pricey. Last time I check it was $18 I think. $7 for the small one.
It's all the way back in the alley on Main St. near the "post office" so keep an eye out or you will miss it.
this is a must when you enter the park. even if there is just two of you, you have to get a locker. i always get one when i go. it's a good place to store a change of shoes or the effects you've bought on your meanderings through the various disney stores. it comes in hand.
the only drawback to it is that you have to back track from wherever you are to get back to the lockers, but, there's a silver lining to that. once you hit main street just cut through all the store to escape the heat since they're all interconnected, lol.
the price is a little high but it's a convenience to have and now that the lockers are computerized, and not operated by keys anymore when i was small, you have almost nothing to carry around with you except yourself.
all you have to do is pay and a light up button will flash on your designated locker. it operates the same when you come back as well. just don't lose the code though.
I never in my life thought I would review a room full of lockers, but thanks to Yelp I'm expanding my horizons in ways I never thought possible. Lockers. Put stuff in them. Tip: lockers are good for kids, but not good FOR kids. Please locker responsibly.

Bleh bleh bleh....
That's what I felt about spending 7 bucks on a LOCKER! I didn't even want to take my hoodie but I was told I should since it was going to get cold at night.
Well? 7 bucks, didn't use the hoodie, but I am the "just in case" girl so it was nice that it was available.
7 bucks though seriously????? ANNNNDDD they were ALL FULL!!! Recession my behind! :)

After never having gone, good friends of ours are finally convinced on taking a trip to Disneyland. We've been going on and on about our last trip and all the pictures finally convinced them.
The best advice I can give them is wear comfortable shoes and get a locker. Like us, they have two young kiddies and you know you have to lug a whole lot of crap with kids. I always rent the large locker ($10 for 18 hours) and dump off the extra set of clothes, and hoodies that I bring. Plus, it's great to be able to come back and drop off purchases during the day. Being the mommy, my kids just hand things to me to carry for them. Being the wifey, I just hand those things right on over to my husband. : )
Seriously, just get the locker. It's sooooo worth not having the hassle.

Get a locker. Seriously just get one.
I know 7 bucks sounds steep but think about being saved from lugging around purchased items, your sunglasses after dark, or your sweater if it gets too hot. I am a "I don't carry anything" person, so I love the convince of the lockers. Just shove and go.
Even though we had a hotel nearby, this was a convenient feature we made great use of because my grandchildren hit each store and hit it hard. My wife and I could hardly maneuver from the bagfuls of merchandise we were already lugging about, until another stop would pop out of the blue just to add to our experience.
The lockers are pricey as everything is at Disneyland, but these are worth the price.
I noticed only two locker sizes, i believe the smaller one was $8, then bigger was $10. I didn't bring my tape measure with me so pardon the lack of statistics.
The lockers were very handy. When coming up Main St from the entrance towards the castle, it's on the right hand side, behind a fruit stand. Prob half way up. There are in-out priviledges. Technology runs the lockers. There is a central system for each row of lockers. You pay, get a locker assigned to you and you get you locker code printed out to you. To open the locker, you go to the computer, enter in the code and your locker opens.
We rented the larger one and fit 6 adult ski jackets in there and a child's jacket. Very cramped but it fit. Night time was about 40's so the lockers came in very handy for night wear. Great for general storage as well, beats going back to the car or hotel.
Soooooooooooo convenient and worth the trouble to send someone back from Frontier Land to get hoodies. But dang! Even in November it gets warm in there so minus 1 star for lack of A/C.
$6 dollars with in and out privileges, but don't forget to pick up your stuff because they clear those suckers out promptly after the last tourist ass clears the exit.

This is always a good idea. I can remember them being a bit bigger when I was a kid. Then again, my shoes and clothing items weren't as large then. You can stuff everything in these suckers. And, with them being located at the front of the park, it's great. You know exacty where you need to go. There's no way someone wouldn't be able to find the lockers on MAIN STREET! Of course, nobody patrols this area anymore. It is all automated now. Everything takes a credit card. The in and outs are a huge plus too. Awesome.
