It's obvious by previous reviewers this is either an "I love it!" or... "Um, I don't think so" kind of place. For us, it was a great option! Headed out for a breakfast meeting with my graphic designer and printer (friends too) and thought we'd hit our "regular" breakfast spots. They were all full, and did not look at all inviting as a place to conduct a bit of business over a meal. We happened by Dishner's and noticed several cars, but an obvious availability. Surprise! The food was good, service was fine, and we had plenty of time to talk business or otherwise. Portions were large, and eggs cooked exactly as ordered - shock! We'll definitely go back!

Dishner's Fine Foods? I don't think so!! They need to change the name of this place because I went to Dishners a while back and the experience was terrible.
I got breakfast, and it tasted like it had been cooked in bacon grease. That may sound great to some people, but as a vegetarian, I found it quite disgusting.
Also, my friend asked for some fruit, and the waitress asked if he wanted fruit cocktail or peaches from a can. Gross!
If you are looking for a greasy spoon perhaps this place is for you. However, if you are looking for fresh and/or healthy, look elsewhere. You won't find it here. -

There are better more expensive places and lesser places. This place hits the middle and does it so well it gets my 5-star rating. The food is fresh, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. My lady friend, who loves coffee, says theirs is great. It's a breakfast and lunch place, so it works well for me as I eat my big meal earlier in the day.
The down note is that the bathrooms are located on the outside of the building. When it's a stormy day, who needs that? The owner has made out like a bandit and has a steady clientele, so why not break down and fix the bathroom situation?
Otherwise it's all good at Dishner's, which is a former A&W once owned by an uncle of mine 40+ years ago. The rest of the interior got a decent enough makeover but you can still tell it's an old A&W. -

I have traveled for my job for over 5 years now, i have visited hundreds of diners and cafes on the west coast. Dishners is quite possibly the worst restaurant I have eaten at. Horrible service, food was almost inedible. There are several better options in the area, avoid this place, go to The Pancake Mill instead!

The food is 'Fine', but an old A&W is still an old A&W, the service is the shiznat, they even delayed closing to accomodate our rather large/loud party. When the food arrived at the table not a peep was heard, for every mouth was full of scrumptious, perfectly prepared dishes, with several substitutions & many coffee refills I had to leave a well deserved fist full of dollars! As Anorld so beautifully said..."I'll be back!"
