I had to get color guard dance shoes at the last minute and they had the shoes in stock with help of the assistant, I bought the right sizes!!! The type of shoes that we had to get where cheaper than the online catalog we usually buy from and we didn't have to pay the extra shipping!!! Thank you for making Lakeside High School (Lake Elsinore, CA) Lancer Regiment Color Guard look great!!!

came here yesterday to get items for my daughters recital. the selection was ok. i coukdn't find what i was looking for so i asked a girl with blonde hair...what a mistake! when i asked she gave me attitude and told me to look for it...which i told her i did....it was not on the floor. she finally helped me and retrieved what i needed from the back...but acted like she was doing me a favor...i heard her talking to someone else...she is a manager? Wtf? she sucks with customers. my experience was bad and i got the hell out asap...i will never come back. i will go elsewhere and tell my daughters dance teacher not to bother with this place.

I shop DDS pretty much for everything unless I need something right this second. Headquartered out of Rancho Cucamonga, when DDS ships out they do it the next day and within 2 days you receive your order, unless back ordered.
Their website is very clear and precise organized in apparel categories, brand names, etc. The prices are unbeatable for sure!
I recommend ordering from DDS if you happen to be choreographing/costuming a piece because they usually have all sizes available and different colors of leotards, pants, etc.
If you aren't used to dance sizes, you may want to make sure you know what size you would where in dance shoes (especially pointe), leotards, etc. before ordering.
Neat feature of their website that I just noticed today was that they had biographies of their dancers/models featured and you can read about where they trained etc. Oh, and most of their products mainly cover ballet, jazz with a bit of modern, tap, hip hop and ball room items. As for other "folk/cultural" apparel, you'll have to google that because hardly any of the dance stores I have seen carry anything for them.Listed in: .dance.

This store is great. I've been shopping with DDS online for years, but I just visited this store for their Black Friday sale recently, and it was fabulous. The selection is great, and it's a big, airy store so you have plenty of room to browse.
The thing that really stood out to me was their shoe department. The ladies really take the time to fit you exactly and talk you through the whole process.
Their pointe shoe fittings are the best I've tried. They were extremely thorough and I walked away with shoes that fit me perfectly both in size, shape, and strength. -

I'm not a real expert on dance supply, but when I was shopping for my friend's daughter for Christmas, this place always stood out as somewhere that was both good in terms of selection and price.
If you need something for dance, fast, and cheap, this is the place to go. If you have a bit more time, try their website, as they have a lot of stuff there as well.
Personally, I really recommend it for dance supplies as everywhere else I've looked has been way more expensive. -

I don't buy dance supplies anywhere else after discoving DDS. They have a wide variety of apparel and shoes for wayyyy cheaper than any of the smaller city stores. They have so much to offer and the workers are friendly which is good. I recommend this place to everyone I know:) I've ordered from there website as well and have been happy every time.

I just signed my 3 year old up for Tiny Dancers through the city. I needed a leotard, tights, and shoes for her. I know NOTHING about dance but they ladies there were really nice and I left with all I needed plus a hair tie to match for less than $40. It was fast and perfect. I would definitely recommend it and go back when she needs her tap attire.
