Everyone so far has mentioned the CD's, but that's not the magnet that attracts me to this store.  If you ever get the chance to brave the steep stairs, head into the basement.  Cratediggers will find one of best collections of house, hip hop, and soul classics.  I can fairly say 1/3 of my vinyl comes from this place. For house heads it's a great place to congregate and discuss the latest cuts w/ Phil D and Brian who oversee the stacks. With the closing of Vinylmania, Beat Street, and Dancetracks over the past year, I appreciate places like this even more.

Decent prices; huge selection. I love their $5 retro concert posters! They compensate well for your used CDs (about $2 per CD).

When you're broke and just can't afford to pay $15 for a CD, come here!  I don't think I'ver ever paid that for a new release here.  The salespeople are nice and helpful.  You can also dig through the racks for the oldies from back in the day.
