I've been using Dirty2Purdy services for a while now.  They consistently do a good job with cleaning, and if there's ever an issue with their cleaning services, all it takes is a quick phone call or an email to the team managers and the issue is resolved moving forward.

I've never had an issue with anything going missing, occasionally I have left items of value out by mistake, and it's still there when I come home, just placed nice and neatly like everything else.

If I leave items out or dishes in the sink, they're always organized, folded, cleaned, and dishes are put away.

I know some people here have had issues with their services, but I have been pleased and know that D2P has been a huge time saver for me, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience I have had with a cleaning company.  I paid $300 for a deep clean and the cleaning woman failed to open some of my cabinets.  It was not even as clean as when I have my normal cleaning woman come for 2 hours and they were supposedly there for 8.  Filed a complaint with the better business bureau which they did not even follow up on.

Disappointed and a poor excuse for a business.  I would be embarrassed if it was my company.

I've been working with Jared and David at Dirty2Purdy over the last year, and they've been a lifesaver.  Since I've been spending part of my time in each of SF and NYC so using Airbnb to arbitrage the rent on the latter when in SF, I needed someone to clean in between clients as well as coordinate key handoff.

The guys at Dirty2Purdy have consistently done an excellent job in cleaning and been a pleasure to work with.  They even went out and bought new sheets when the old ones were wearing out and so could rotate new sheets in with each cleaning.

    I rec them highly.

Very poor value for money.  Cleaner was poorly skilled - did not seem to understand how to properly clean.  For example, he cleaned the bathroom, but 'missed' the bathtub.  He cleaned the kitchen, but 'missed' the tiles above the stove.  He did not mop the floors, but only swept.

All in all, he did an ok job of doing a superficial clean after a lot of prodding and prompting.  It was the level of clean I could've achieved with a few spare hours - he took 4.5, with a lot of supervision.

I called the manager, hoping to find a more capable cleaner to replace the novice in my apartment, but the manager was unhelpful and did not follow up as promised.

I would never use this business again.

I have had these people cleaning my apartment for a while, and at first they were really good but quality deteriorated over time. This week they put my iron skillet in the dishwasher. I've had enough. TIme to find a new cleaner.

So, I moved into my apt 2 months ago.  Unfortunately for me, the previous tenant did not clean it before she left and it was FILTHY.  After trying to clean it myself mannnny times and not even making a dent in the layers of dirt, I decided I had to find a professional.  I turned to Yelp and found Dirty2Purdy.  The reviews were awesome, as you can see, so I decided to email the owner, David.  He got back to me really quickly, and we scheduled for him to come over and look at my apartment's disaster-area qualities the next day.  David came over to give me an estimate, and he was really cool and nice and gave me a really reasonable price, so I thought I would give Dirty2Purdy a try.

The cleaning was AWESOME.  The day of my appointment, I had to run to the library, so I had to leave the lady that D2P sent alone in my apartment.  Obviously I have heard horror stories about leaving someone alone in my apartment, but I had no choice.  When I got back three hours later (eek), my apartment was perfectly clean and sparkling, and not one little thing was missing- she even made a neat little pile of all my laundry quarters- they may not be worth too much, but they are worth everything to me hahaaa.

Dirty2Purdy did an amazing job at a great price, and has an amazing staff.  I would recommend it to anyone.  David is a smart and competent business man, and the woman who cleaned my apartment was thorough and sweet.  Now my feet are clean when I walk around barefoot, and my bathroom is actually white.  yayy!

Very professionally run! Totally unlike most house cleaners that I've tried. The owner of the company comes over first to assess the situation and give an estimate. He details everything that you want cleaned and works with the time/budget limits he's given.
I was given a house cleaning as a gift and couldn't be more pleased. It was so lovely to come home to a spic and span apartment today. If I could afford to have my apt cleaned on a regular basis, there's no question that I'd call this company again!

    ATTACK OF THE DUST BUNNIES!!!!!!

    who do you call?!

    DIRTY2PURDY!

Okay, enough cheesiness here and in all seriousness this is THE best cleaning service I have EVER EVER EVER had. It's unfortunate that a service like this doesn't exist in Los Angeles. Durty2Purdy is an OCDs dream. I've met two people in person and both are very sweet and amiable. Very easy to converse and work with. I do find their hourly rates a little higher than most but the cost reflects the motto " You get what you pay for" They are the most thorough and detailed oriented cleaners ever. They even bothered to clean my air filter in my air conditioning box to prevent more dust. I wouldn't call anyone else for help!

    These guys are great!

I just moved into an apartment and it was a disaster on moving day. Very little was done to clean up the dust and debris from the work that was done on it before I moved in.

These guys came in and cleaned every nook and cranny; the molding around the doors and windows, the windows, the shelves and cabinets, bathroom, kitchen, and stove.

The price was right and ever so sweeter when I saw how spotless this place was when I got home from work.

    Thanks so Much!

Excellent client service!  I've tried two other housekeepers that I had found on Craigslist, and Dirty2Purdy is different.  In a good way.  They're professional, run like a real business.

A representative comes over to do a free consultation before the first cleaning.  During this consultation, the rep will go around your apartment room by room, and checks off on a list what needs to be cleaned.  The rep takes careful notes on any special instructions you have, ie. don't wash the pans, clean inside the medicine cabinet, etc.  Before the rep leaves, you are given a cost and time estimate for your first cleaning appointment, so you know exactly what to expect.

During the first cleaning appointment, the rep comes with the housekeeper to go over the list and special instructions from the consultation.  They bring their own cleaning supplies too, which is great.  My fiance and I have been thrilled coming home to a clean apartment since we started using Dirty2Purdy.

Any company that cleans my oven knobs gets an A+ in my book.

While the cleaning was thorough, I'm most pleased with the customer service and accountability. They asked all the right questions and took pride in making sure I was satisfied. They are the most professional cleaning service I've encountered and are highly recommended.

    They were Awesome!

We are a company of about 170 professionals that occupy 3 floors. When recently shopping for cleaning proposals we were unsure whether we should with a smaller privately owned company (with a fun name) such as Dirty2Purty or one of the larger companies who frequently call, advertise and annoy us. We made the right choice by choosing Dirty2Purdy.

They were able to quickly accommodate our large job and the job they did was detailed and simply OUTSTANDING.The owners are very personable yet professional.  Best of all they employ trustworthy hardworking people. We look forward to working with them in the future!

I've been putting off writing this review for a long time because I think that David, the owner, is such a nice guy, and I really really really wanted to have a 5 star experience.

I'm usually alright cleaning our one bedroom apartment, but we had some mice issues that were recently resolved, so we thought that the kitchen and bathroom needed a deep cleaning. I figured I could handle the rest of the apartment. Please keep in mind that like everyone else I live in a small NYC apartment, so we're not talking a lot of leg room for JUST the kitchen and bathroom. David came by to do an estimate, and I thought he was great. He really understood, and wrote down, the specific areas that needed deep cleaning, and I thought he was very accomodating by fitting me into a Saturday time slot. I also like the one hour over policy where they won't charge you more than an extra hour if the job takes longer. So even though the estimate was really expensive, so far so good!

So then the cleaning woman arrived. She was deaf, which David told me before she arrived. I actually think it's fantastic that they hire deaf people, so this wouldn't be a problem except I couldn't really communicate with her. She was sooooo slllooowww, and she took two breaks to smoke on my balcony. She didn't ask, and neither my husband nor myself are smokers, so it was really gross and made our entire apartment smell (aside from the fact that we were paying by the hour for her to smoke!).

She actually did an ok (4 star) job on the kitchen. Everything was great and clean other than the floor, that was still really dirty when she was done. The bathroom, however, was horrific. I paid for a deep clean, and this was worse than a normal clean. It was pretty much a "no clean". Now she was really hurrying when she got to it because she was way more than an hour over, but I'm talking the WORST cleaning job I've ever seen. It was so bad that I called up David to complain. He was awesome. He came over and actually cleaned the place himself! I was very impressed, but I felt really bad, and at this point I had wasted an entire day trying to get two rooms clean. So yes, he did come to fix it, and admitted the job she did was terrible, but it wasn't as though the experience became any less inconvenient.

Since they are so expensive, it is hard to get a Saturday appointment, they are REALLY slow, and the cleaning person smoked on the job and in my apartment and I couldn't communicate with her to say not to... sorry, can't give more than a 3 star review. But David is an awesome owner who works really hard to try to provide a great service, so I wish him the best of luck!

Yes, David came by and wasted an hour of my life filling out a checklist of what needed to be cleaned in a small studio apartment.

Then Adrian (sp?) was over an hour late because she forgot what time my appt. was at.  So talky, I left ,which was a mistake, as I then think she must have talked on her cell phone as she proceeded to only get to HALF of my small apt.  in 4 hours. It cost me $144 to get my place not cleaned. I watched her clean my dining table crumb by crumb, one at a time.  Ridiculous.  And she helped herself to something that I was throwing out (already in my garbage) without asking!  SKIP!

To be fair, my above review turned out to be not completely accurate. David - the owner (?) - had actually gotten back to me via an email return response the second time I tried to schedule a walk through and cleaning.

I had not been in my office for a long weekend and hadn't checked my emails, so my thought that he would call me, given the time constraints inherent in my schedule, turned out to be an inaccurate assumption. My initial experience, however, still stands.

Dirty2Purty charges $40 an hour.  This is roughly twice what most other services charge.  We hired them because we thought that meant they were the best.  If they were, it would have been worth every penny.

A representative came to our apartment to give us an estimate and schedule the actual cleaning.  He quoted us $190.00 for 4.75 hours and he promised not to charge us any more if his cleaner went over.  Thank god!   The cleaner showed up a half hour late and it took him closer to 8 hours to clean our apartment.  And by hour 6 he had to call the manager from D2P to come over and help him.  If they had charged us for 8 hours it would have been $320 + tip.  That would have been far too expensive for this service.  It was sloppy and unprofessional.  Plus we usually pay $100 for a cleaning lady who does a much better job.

Now, I grew up with the idea that you clean your house before the house cleaner cleans your house.  Meaning, everything was in organized and put away before he even got here.  The bed was made, all our dishes were washed and dried, cloths hung neatly in the closet, etc.  All we wanted done was a deep cleaning.  I would be the first to admit if our apartment was a tough job but this is just not the case.  This guy was soooo slow that it made me uncomfortable to watch.

During the representative's initial consolation he made it very clear that his cleaner would not do anything that we did not discuss.  So if you use them, make sure to discuss EVERYTHING, even if it seems silly.  For instance, we did not discus our trash cans, so the cleaner did not empty our garbage.  Nor did they wipe down our kitchen island that is right smack in the middle of our kitchen or the 2 desks that take up most of our office.   I assumed that these things were a given but I was mistaken.

They also promise to come back if you are dissatisfied with any one thing.  The cleaner left giant streaks of oven cleaner on top of and inside our oven, did not dust half the furniture in the house, and did a half ass job on the bathroom.  But I would not want them back in my house for anything.  The whole experience was so awkward and weird that we just cleaned those things ourselves.

I would also like to note that when the two cleaners finally left, I called the representative to make sure they would not charge our credit card for 8 hours.  I told him what happened and there was no apology.  He simply said that he had obviously under bid the job (he basically blamed me for his guy being so slow).  Again, if he had bid the job at 8 hours, it would have cost close to $400 with tip.  That is WAY too much for what we actually got.

So, my first experience with this company was really great. The first cleaner did a really fantastic, complete, detailed job. The second one was not so good....cursory cleaning, and was done in less than 90 mins (but still charged the same). I've moved on to a new service.

I was surprised by the high estimate the representative gave me= $400!
I told her the high price was scaring me off from the hopes of having a weekly service. She assured me that the estimate was much higher than the actual cost.  Well, they charged me $320 which would be high but acceptable if the cleaning were, as the reviews below say, spotless, but it was just an okay cleaning. (I'm not a perfectionist, but I did have to scrub the kitchen counter and small areas of the dining room floor after they were gone, and the cleaners had no clue how to do recycling).   I expected "you get what you pay for" and I think what I got was inflated markup by the business, knowing that those two young women who actually cleaned my house likely received at most a third of what I paid.  So the high cost doesn't actually go towards compensating the cleaner's high standard, as I had assumed.  I tipped them on top, then tax was added, (tax was mentioned for the first time after the job was done.)  I did call the company and received a discount, for which I am grateful, but when I did the math (320 + 30 tip + 26 tax = $376 ) for what the original total would have been, I felt taken advantage of.   In this economy, I don't think this company's pricing is realistic.
