This review refers to the grocery portion of the store, as I have no boat and no need for boating equipment.
Being vegetarian/vegan on the island is sometimes hard to do, so it's *really* nice to see a store pop up that features a rockin' selection of natural/organic/veg food.
They have a huge walk-in fridge full of fresh produce, and the prices aren't too bad for the island (where everything is marked up). They also have a huge-ass freezer which employees will go into to retrieve things for you.
My vegan friend was ecstatic to find Tofutti Cuties there in mint chocolate chip as well as plain vanilla, so win there. They also have Newman-Os, which are tasty, but a little spendy at $5.50.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and care about customer service. Before my friend bought her Cuties, the cashier asked if she could open the box to make sure they hadn't been melted and refrozen, as they'd had some problems with that in the last shipment, and she didn't want us to have to trek back to the store to get a replacement. That was nice of her.
So yeah, come here and support the small businesses that help veg-type people survive happily on the island :)
What a delightful little place nestled conveniently away on an unassuming side street. The selection of health food and vegetarian items was impressive. It is certainly a good find.
