I went to Dina's in search of a particular dress that they had in my size. I wouldn't have gone otherwise as it's a little out of the way for me. It was OK. I liked that they weren't TOO busy and they gave me an appointment at the last minute. I liked the dresses they had - good selection of gowns in the "under $1,000" category.
What I didn't like was that the salesperson had no interest in helping me try on the gowns. Those dresses are tough to get in and out of. Fortunately I had two friends with me.
If it was closer I might go back. But it's not, so I won't
The staff at Dina's Bridal was pretty rude.
First they extended a cold welcome by barking at us 3 times about closing shop in 30 minutes. We told them we just wanted to browse, not try anything on, so I don't know what the problem was. Then they would not get out of our face, just a few minutes later.
Then they said: "oh May ! (which was 5 months from then) Thats too
soon, you can't get a dress by then."
We replied: "Well, we were looking for something simple".
They said: "All the designers make simple, honey."
To which we replied by walking out of the store.
Seriously. We were in shock at how unusual this series of interactions was. Very interesting behavior from what appeared to be the business owner and her assistant.
