Generic BBQ place, not much different than BBQ This. You get a huge cup, and they serve plenty of meat for $10 after tax. So thin your wallet and fatten your left ventricle, all for under ten bucks.
Oh, and if you're feeling lucky, they run the mechanical bull from 6pm to midnight on weekends. -

In the hopes of some improvement, I tried this place for a second time, after having a so, so experience a number of months ago. Well, folks, things didn't get any better.
I ordered the two meat plate with sides ($10) and while the brisket was rather tender, the ribs were dry and chewy. The sides were less than stellar and the corn bread (which is always a favorite with me) was doughy and tasteless. (and no butter to be found to make it any better...)
That was not the worst of it...this is a walk up and order place. I ordered my meal and then sat in the only empty table left in the dining room that didn't have evidence of previous diners...I waited ten minutes for my rather lukewarm food to arrive and finished my entire meal before any one came by to clean off those dirty tables.
Shame on them...it wasn't that busy when I was there.
I love ribs...so next time I'm saving my money and making a trip to Iowa City for a visit to Jimmy Jacks...at least there I know I will get a good meal, a clean restaurant, and some of the best darn tasty ribs around. -
