Weird private residence with a front yard that is decorated with all kinds of crazy crap. Some of it is junk, but there is some real art too. My favorite is the statue of a bear with an armload of disembodied human heads. They don't call bears the headhunters of the woods for nothing.
This is someone's home (I'm assuming Dick and Jane) and there is a sign asking to respect their privacy, but you are encouraged to view everything from the sidewalk, sign the guest book or even buy a postcard from a fancy machine.
Small town oddities, you gotta love em. I still haven't seen the albino shaman and his heard of submissive tapirs, but I hear it's life changing.
Moving on to something completely unrelated, I think that a cool name for a band would be Dr. Strange Loins.

This is a must see when (not if) you come through Ellensburg. It is an amazing art work in process: a house/fence/yard covered in reflectors! (Plus so much more.)
They aren't "open to the public" but you can see plenty from the sidewalk! They will arrange a tour though if you like. (Not something I've done.)
