Hell yeah! Lulu kebab to the max! Tasty tasty tasty! A good sized portion worthy of the price. I stuffed myself silly and loved every minute of it. Why I never tried this place sooner I have no idea, but I am an instant fan. Not only was our take-out order ready on time, they got it right, plus they did me an extra favor for my order which definitely got my attention.

Great experience, never had Armenian and the owners were very friendly to explain what Armenian on their menu compared to Persian. The kabob had a different spices and more veggies then Persian, tasty and moist. Rice is different too made with bulghar rice. Tea was strong but not bitter.
Easily the best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean/Persian restaurant in the valley IMO, with Phoenician garden right behind them. Very friendly and personable service from the owners who also prepare all of the food fresh from scratch themselves. They really make me feel like I'm part of their family when I'm there. I've never had a bad experience at Diana's as quality control is paramount with them. They even do a great job catering!
The humus is the best I've had with just the right amount of salt and oil with a perfect texture and consistency. The tabouleh, baba ganoush, and house vegetable soup are also fantastic! Meat lovers must try the Sultani dish. It's a combination of meats seasoned and grilled to perfection.
Highly recommended and hard to get better food at any price range!
I've had a lot of good meals during my time in Fresno, but Diana's is my new favorite. Great menu--a wide variety of Mediterranean/Armenian/Persian food, all prepared fresh and seasoned lightly. I had the sultani plate and was in heaven. The hummus and beers were also fantastic. Great prices--everything was under $15/person for extremely generous portions. And lastly, great service and great people--this is a family business, and service is both fast and hospitable. Restaurants like Diana's are true treasures, and I can't wait to go back.
Diana's tempts you with the questions, Where were you getting your Mediterranean fix before? Diana's is the greatest because they feature all the traditional treats of an Armenian restaurant like dolmas, hummus, babajanoush, lamb shank, shish kebab, and of course baklava. Where they sky-rocket to the best Mediterranean in Fresno is, every dish they whip up is not good or okay, but excellent. This friendly, family run establishment, will most certainly leave you wondering how you got by without them before.
I love the veggie combo plate (hummus, babj., dolma, falafel, tabbouleh), but I always get that so on one of my many fantastic visits to Diana's I decided to try a Greek salad and the shrimp kebabs. OMG!!! If you have any seafood tendencies please, you owe it to your taste buds to try the shrimp kebab here.
I can never go to Diana's without ordering an order of dolma to begin my meal. These are the best, and I mean best I have every had. They are large, not too soft but not firm, filled with tangy tomatoes and rice...um I could go for one right now!
I have an Armenian family so I understand good Armenian food, this is it folks! I hosted a wonderful graduation party here as well. When looking at venues I thought, hey it's my party and I will go to Diana's if I want to. Everyone loved it. The presentation was great, they let us bring in our own wine, and they even made my fave Armenian dessert, Khadayif (shredded phyllo dough pastry with a delicious cream filling)!!!!!!
An all around great dining experience. A family run restaurant, Diana's offers a mix of Mediterranean, Persian, and Armenian cuisine. Starting with the Tabbouleh and Falafel, both were outstanding; the Tabbouleh was flavorful and the Falafel was really nice, especially with the side of hummus it comes with. For meals, both the Shrimp Kebab and the Koobideh were well above average. I also got a chance to try the Yalanchi, which were without a doubt the best I've ever had, end of story. They were packed full of flavor. In terms of service, it was exactly what you want in a little ethnic restaurant. Family owned and operated, the owner's daughter was our server and we also received attention from the owner herself. Her philosophy on how a restaurant should be run is exactly what I was looking for: good, authentic food, family, and hospitality. She was so kind as to offer us Persian tea, compliments of her, and instruct us on how her people drink tea. I will most definitely return to this restaurant.
We went here last night based on the recommendations of other Yelp-ers, and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious - I loved my vegetarian plate with smoky baba ganoush, buttery hummus, and homemade dolma. My boyfriend loved his lamb dish, and was more than happy to scoop up my hummus with pita bread. The service was great - the owner was so friendly and warm. I can't wait to go back!
