This is where I go when I need to run "errands" while at work (everyone else on my team runs "errands!" so I figured I could do it too). This boutique is so tiny, but very cozy and charming. The staff is super nice- never hovering over you- very down to earth. I agree with fellow yelpers- they have a great Michael Star selection, with lots of different styles and colors. They also sell brands like Acrobat, which I've had trouble finding in the city (Acrobat makes great sweaters). They have lots of cute purses and a lovely jewerly selection- not too pricey, but def. not cheap. Lots of simple, classy gold pieces. It looks hand made. They also sell well known brands like Rebecca Beeson and Kenzie. Fairly standard prices for the brands. Overall, well worth an occasional drop in!

I love this shop. I stop in every season or when I'm just feeling blah about my wardrobe and always walk out with my hands full. The staff is really nice and knows everything they have hidden in the rack of this petite place. They also have great sales!
I love Dialogue because it I am a "jeans n' t-shirt" kind of girl... or, as the proprietress of Dialogue says "classic, casual."
And, Dialogue is a boutique full of jeans n' t-shirt"... um, "classic, casual" type clothing. And, not the ratty type jeans n' t-shirts which I wore in college -- nice, fine clothing made by nice, fine designers.
Like the ever changing line of Michael Starr... I LOVE me some Michael Starr t-shirts, etc. Kim and Wendy always ALWAYS have what I want.
Of course they have dressier selection, great accessories and shoes... they run the full gamut - they can dress you for office, play, dinner, wedding, baby shower (yes, I've been to a couple of those recently) and whatever other life-type happening you think you have to buy clothes for (which is pretty much just living for me, you know?)
I also happen to know for a fact that Kim and Wendy go on several buying trips per season for Dialogue... and, as the both have impeccable taste you can surmise that this results in an amazing assortment of designers and styles to choose from.
FULL DISCLOSURE:
Kim Meader (proprietress of Dialogue) is my friend and I work for her at her Sample Sale four times a year. I was going to knock one star off my review so I wouldn't be biased... but, then I thought to myself - "Self? WTF? Half the clothes in your closet are from Dialogue," (the other half being from H&M) "you should tell it like it is - Dialogue rox sox!"
So, five stars. Deal.

I like the selection at this store, as it is perfect for a young mother like me. I want to be casual, with a little edge and Dialogue has great things. I'm taking off two stars because Wendy, one of the owners, is a big snob. I've been in there so many times but she never acknowledges me. The other gals who work there are great though, so hopefully you can shop when Wendy is not there.
My favorite local clothing botique that is casual and classy, most important- reasonable. Great sweaters and sales!

A great boutique less than a block from mi casa. I love their selection, and the prices are a fair range. They also replenish their stock frequently, it is a small place, so there is always a reason to pop in and check it out.
PS - the sales people are always sweet and humble for the neighborhood
Dialogue always has what I am looking for. I have several things which I bought there years ago and they still look great and in style, and I love-particularly some great cashmere sweaters. The staff is always friendly. They also have totally cute jewelry which makes it a great place to pop in for the ole last minute gift.
A great intimate boutique with a nice selection of merchandise and reasonable prices. They have great jewelry and as Lulu B. said, the staff is fabulous!
