After reading the other previous reviews- I would like to say I have had nothing but kind and caring service from Dr. Diakos and her staff members. I have been seeing her for almost a year now and have no plans to go anywhere else. Warm personality. Kind hearted. I highly reccomend her to EVERYONE!

My HMO PP referred me to Dr. Diakos, and I thought she was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable, took my medical history herself, answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable. I would give 5 stars but the staff could have been a little friendlier...

my first few visits with her were just fine, fairly uneventful.  but in recent months, my opinion has changed drastically.  she very dismissive and abrupt when i was diagnosed with a relatively serious condition.  during that visit i was so distraught i really couldn't think straight. but she was kind enough to give me as much time as i wanted to cry alone in the examination room before she rushed me out the door.  such a compassionate bedside manner, i tell you.  after a few days, i had lots of questions to ask her.  i couldn't get her on the phone, i had to schedule another appointment.  her attitude during the visit was one of "okay, what do you want? i'm busy here."  the desk staff was not any kinder.  i believe dr diakos has a yuppie pregnancy practice and if your needs are different, she doesn't have time for you.  the last straw was when i called regarding an insurance error today.  the receptionist was downright combative and defensive when i was only trying to get information from a confusing unicare statement.  i will never go there again.  also, their line is constantly busy with no hold option.  just the busy signal.  beyond annoying and antiquated, in my opinion.

Well, I was looking for a new gyne because of the poor experiences I was having with my last one (see Dr. Ramona Slupik).  My general practitioner referred me to Dr. Rose Diakos.  The person who set up my appointment was VERY nice, so I was excited.  I called to confirm my 12:10pm appt the day before.  Because of traffic, it took me 40 minutes to get to her office, I was 10 minutes late.  And, she wouldnt see me because I was 10 mins. late!!!  WHOA!!!  Im already stressed from my last doc and now this!!  And what doctor isnt already 20 minutes behind schedule.  My next question was "how long did you schedule for me as a first time patient?".  The receptionist replied with "20 minutes".  Well I have ten mins left nevermind 20 mins is not very long for a new patient.  The receptionist then replied, with, "well, now its only 5 mins left...I have to reschedule you."  I said no thanks, and left.  What is with my gyne karma these days?

I too Have had a bad experience with this doctor. She did not give me necessary information.  Do not use her you will be sorry. You might pay with your life.
