So far so good... I was accepted for a clinical trial. The people working here do pharmaceutical trials. They look for people with migraines, neuralgia, fibromyalgia, obesity, etc... They screen patients pretty carefully, so don't think you can just come in and ask for meds. There are doctors who work here as well, so you can't fake it either!!! I'm hoping this trial helps me in the long run. Remember... depending on the trial - You might be getting the placebo!!

We specialize in clinical research. We have been working in our Walnut Creek location for over 17 years. We have 6 MDs on staff with specialties in endocrinology, internal medicine, cardiology, and neurology.
We work with our patient volunteers and the pharmaceutical and biotech companies to bring new medications and devices to market to help treat and prevent diseases such as diabetes, diabetic neuropathy, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arthritis, osteoporosis, migraines, fibromyalgia, women's/men's health, sexual dysfunction and more.
Our patient volunteers receive all labs, physical exams, specialty exams (mammograms, bone density tests, x-rays, etc) and specialty consults (dietician, opthalmologist, etc) free of charge. No insurance is required. Volunteers are paid for their time and travel.
We pride ourselves on our excellent patient care, our quality data provided to the pharmaceutical companies and our work in helping "Advance Health" through clinical research.

Established in 1995
Diablo Clinical Research works with pharmaceutical/biotech companies to conduct research to find potential new treatments for a variety of health conditions: diabetes, obesity, migraines, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and more.
We have conducted over 600 studies; our database of over 12,000 patients includes people who have either completed a study with us, are currently enrolled in a study, or have expressed interest in participating in a study.
As a community service, we offer free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, osteoporosis, blood pressure and more. In our studies, we are dedicated to providing safe, top quality care to our patients, and clean, reliable data to our sponsoring companies.

Meet the Business Owner: Richard W.
Dr. Richard Weinstein has been a practicing physician in this community for over 35 years. He continues to see patients through his role as Executive Medical Director of Diablo Clinical Research.
He is a leading expert in Diabetes, Metabolism and Bone research and has published many articles in these areas of expertise.
He is as committed to research as he is to community service. He believes it is Diablo Clinical Research's responsibility to give back to the community through free and low cost screenings and tests.
