Good hearty Italian food in SM for a great price. Thanks to the Yelp reviews, I saved 20% from the coupon I clipped on their to-go menu.
We ordered:
- bruschetta - tasty with lots of olives
- cheese bread - kind of bland
- linguini with clams - huge portion with lots of tiny clams but the red sauce with it didn't taste like much.
- spaghetti w/ meatballs - the sauce was nice and tangy. the meatballs were good.
Sorry, there was nothing to love to really bring me back.
I liked it.
A group of us went here for lunch.. They have lunch specials and discounts available as well.
We ordered a pizza and shared it.
The food was hot and the service was fine.
They aren't in the best location, but it is what it is...
Parking can be tricky..
I will go back again...
Good pizza, friendly owner, but I haven't gone back.
I called there last night and ordered a pepperoni and hamburger pizza. When I got there, they had prepared a hamburger with fries and a pepperoni pizza. Cracked me up. We clarified, they chopped up the hamburger meat and spread it around the pizza and sent us on our way. The food was great and the servers were very nice.

While sitting and waiting for our food, I was listening to the owners converse and thought at first it was Spanish. I couldn't really quite pick it up and it sounded somewhat strange for Spanish and then it dawned on me that it was Portugese! After talking to one of the owners he relayed that he was Brazilian and that he had just taken over the business three months ago. Italian food from a Brazilian? Well I didn't actually get to try the Italian entrees but the co-coworker and I got a medium sausage, pepperoni and mushroom pizza. That stuff was taaaaaasty!
The crust had a nice thickness and crunch to it and the toppings were super generous. This was a lot of food. In fact I shouldn't have gotten the clam chowder but did because it was Friday and that's the only time they have it. No, I'm glad I did because it was tasty too.
The owner and staff are super friendly and this place has been here for a while, so it's got a lot of character. I liked the pizza enough where I think we're gonna come back soon and try the entrees out for size.
Really like the lasagne and fried calamari in particular. The pizza is hit or miss; sometimes it's great, sometimes... well, not bad, exactly, just not great (not as many toppings, crust isn't as crisp, etc.) They throw in free cheesy garlic bread or soda if you order over a certain amount. FAST delivery service. Friendly, too.

So we heard of this place from restaurant.com Got a $25 buck certificate for 10 bucks!
Ordered the Large Greek Pizza, Cesar salad, and Pasta(can't remember the name., had ham, peas, creamy sauce). The food was pretty tasty. The pizza was a little bit on the salty side, but the crust was just right. I would definitely go back again and most likely order take out since we don't have a good pizza joint here in foster city.
Yum!
also, the place was clean, kid friendly(had lots of kid made pics all over the place from the owner's son's class), and service was just right.
ehhh!!! Food tasted like plastic. they didnt deliver what i asked for.
This is one of our friends' go-to place to get pasta to go or for delivery. It's not top of the line food, but it does dish out pretty good Italian American flair. The spaghetti bolognese/meatballs are ok. Linguini with clams in broth is decent. It is made with canned clams. The fettuccine pescatore (prawns, calamari, and baby clams) in broth is quite tasty. The lasagna siciliana (ground chuck, prosciutto, hard boiled egg) is just so so. Baked penne and chicken parmigiana aren't bad. The free garlic bread is a plus. The hand toss crust on the pizza is nice. Though it's not on the menu, you can request pesto, quite tasty, on the pizza. However, since they use the pesto made for pasta as the pizza sauce, it does get really, really oily. The toppings are generous.
Prices are reasonable, but I wouldn't call them great deals. Service has always been efficient. Parking can be challenging during certain times of the day.

My husband and I and our families are Italian, and we LOVE this place. Trust me, from real Italians, this is the biggest compliment an Italian place can get.
We've never had the pizza or the sandwiches, though they look yummy. But we have had all 3 choices of lasagna, the eggplant Parmesan, ravioli, chicken Parmesan and spaghetti and meatballs. They were ALL fantastic. My biggest recommendation is the veggie lasagna. Don't be put off that it's got no meat- it is the cheesiest, most fabulous lasagna you'll ever have!
The prices are cheap cheap CHEAP! The kitchen is right there in the front of the place so you can see everything that's going on. There is no children's menu, but if you ask them to make a small plate of spaghetti and meatballs, they do it without blinking.
The service is slow, so definitely order the bruschetta as soon as you sit down. There also is not a whole lot of seating, so I wouldn't recommend a group of more than 6 people. I guess it's not much of a problem because they also don't have much parking. But the small hassle is SO worth it.
The portions are huge! Most of the dishes are around $10 and you get enough for at least 2 meals! The owner, Raphael is super nice and if you look inside the to go menu, you can always find coupons :)
This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time.
I haven't tried the Pizza but the pastas are good. With enjoyable food and prices this restaurant has shown a lot with nice quick service with tasty food and great prices. They could improve on their menu with better choices a little though, but everything else was great. The employees are friendly and it is located in a good area. I will update this after i've visited again and tried the pizza.
haven't tried the pizza yet, but their chicken pamegiana sandwhich was super good. they really didnt skimp on the sauce or the cheese.
