Adding to the chorus of 5 star reviews here:
Ken and his crew arrived with the truck fully loaded with cleaning equipment and ready to go. Ken is very friendly and personable. I went back inside and did my thing and an hour and half later, my car was as clean as it was when I bought it from the dealership. These guys' attention to detail is unmatched and the quality of their work is world-class.
I told Ken that my car looked, smelled and felt so beautiful it made me want to sleep in it instead of my apartment. :-)

This update is LONG overdue. Within two hours of when I posted my original review, Ken personally called me to apologize for not taking care of what I expected and also explained why they were not able to buff off what was on the hood of my car (see my original review).
Wow. That level of personalized customer service is something I was certainly NOT expecting. It was extremely impressive that Ken would take the time to call me even I had already given him a pretty decent 4-star review. I will not change my rating as my original concern still remains, but mad props for some amazing customer service! Okay so here's the deal. I called Ken, first off great guy! I inquired about some help, no I didn't need a detail. I actually needed some bumper repair done on my car, she's not the fanciest car but I love her so much!
Anyway, called Ken, who literally bent over backwards to help me out. Even though he wasn't detailing my car, he referred me to a group who repaired and painted my bumper. They even came to my place of work to do their work. Ken from what i can tell will make no money off of this, he seemed to help me and refer them to me out of his complete utter kindness. Thats what I call a decent human being.
Ken is a great guy, and because of this he will now be the only guy who will detail my car in the future. I used to go to B.A.D. in Burbank to detail my car, and don't get me wrong, those guys are great, and do great work on my car, but the way Ken handled this situation and how he helped me when he wouldn't even profit from the help he supplied is just remarkable.
Ken you're a good guy, great business, I wish you were like my big brother or something!
Anyway, if you don't use Ken's services than you're indeed missing out. Trust him with your car, and get treated like a friend with Ken.

RUN, DON'T WALK to your phone or computer to schedule a detail with Ken!! Your car needs it, even if you think your car looks good... forget about it!!
Ken and his staff will do things to your car that you never thought existed!! Yes, that's right! Ken took my 2004 Toyota Sequoia, and made that car look new. No, I am not kidding, here -- even the windshield looked like it was replaced with a new one.
I had no idea my windshield could look that clean, that clear, that amazing!! Seriously, you're not going to find a nicer, more professional, courteous, punctual, and committed to cleaning your vehicle guy than Ken (and his staff). I was so incredibly impressed -- this is hands down the best detail (which included a clay wax) I have ever seen.
So, like I said you better RUN to schedule that detail because Ken is going to be booked up for a long, long time!! -

Ken and his team did a fantastic job detailing my car. He came with 2 other guys and worked on my car for about 4 hours! My car is a 9 year old BMW, and they made it look as good as new. Came to my office in beverly hills, took my car out to an alley behind the building, and went to work on it. A real attention to detail, no cut corners, and a wonderful job all around. I will definitely be using them again, and recommending them to my friends.

Kenny and his crew managed to work me in on a tight schedule and made the completely neglected 2003 Civic look like new! The BF was mighty-pleased as am I. Thanks Kenny for helping make the early Christmas present a win!
Mention any trouble spots and Kenny turned his attention to it and made it look better immediately. He and his crew are bustling and get the job done quick too. Full five stars for sure. -

After a week in the dusty desert of Black Rock City, Nevada (AKA BURNING MAN), the Toyota 4Runner was covered in a fine baby powder like dust/sand that can be almost impossible to get out of crevices, carpets and the dashboard. In 4 hours, Ken and his team had the 5 year old car looking and feeling like it was new. Tires were shiny, the smell was great, and the car looked better than it did before we left for the desert. They did the work outside my house, so I didn't have to take it anywhere and be stuck waiting. Yes, its pricey for a 4 door SUV, but going cheap and then having to ask for a 2nd and 3rd pass from a car wash location was something I didn't want to deal with. I only wish they could have repaired the interior door that was accidentally damaged when it got packed up during departure from the Burn. I wish they also had the ability to fix the back window which was scratched by the rear wiper when someone accidentally turned it on while covered in dust. If they can bring in an expert to fix things like these at the same time, I'd give them 5 stars for ultimate convenience. Great, professional, courteous service.

Ken and his team went way above and far beyond my expectations!!! The quality of the detail was top notch with extreme attention to even the smallest details. My wife's car was spotless inside and out. Ken's communication, desire to insure my satisfaction and follow up afterwards make Detail USA a world class business that I'll be happy to use again!
My wife's car had been parked under a tree for an extended period of time accumulating an extensive build up of leaves and dirt compacted into every spot imaginable as well has a nasty coat of residue. In addition her drivers side door had been keyed. We also had lived in the rainy northwest for years and our carpets and floor mats showed the worse for it. My wife had also been taking a friends dog to the dog park so we had a healthy dose of dog hair inside as well. All that added up to a car in need of much love so I wanted it perfectly cleaned for her birthday.
The first time I called Ken answered the phone, discussed all the details, arranged to view the car and then we set an appointment convenient to me one week out. Ken called the night before to remind me of the appointment then showed up on time the morning of and after making sure all my needs were going to be met got right down to work with his crew.
Two hours later when I walked up to my wife's car I could not have been more satisfied. I looked over the entire car inside and out and everything was perfect. I did not need to point out anything that was missed or overlooked because they did the job right the first time! The key marks had nearly vanished with out need for paint work. The carpets and floor mats were spotless and not a single dog hair could be found. The car had not looked, smelled and felt this good since we bought it new many years ago. Ken made sure I was 100% satisfied before leaving and followed up a few days later to make sure I was still happy with the work. Needless to say, I most certainly am!

It was a delight communicating with Ken to schedule a time to bring the car to him to get detailed. My dad's car is about a year old but it needed a major wash & detail. Ken and his guys were so efficient in getting the job done. I was very satisfied with their work. My only gripe is that there were some spots I could still see where bird droppings used to be and the windows weren't completely clean. The car was parked under the shade when I went to pick it up and I didn't notice these minor details at the time. But I'm sure if I had noticed & pointed it out, Ken would have fix it without hesitation!
I washed this car a few weeks later and I want to add that water doesn't bead up that much on this car. This is solely based on comparison to the water beading on my self-waxed car (even after 5+ washes). However, this may be due to the quality of wax they use and not necessarily the work Ken & his guys put in.It looked shiny when I picked it up so I'm ok with that! -

I recently went on a business trip and when I returned Ken and his team had come to my house and completely given me a brand new car. From inside and out, my car is now better than new. Almost too good to turn in when the lease is up. From making the arrangements for them to come to the post-job follow up, their dedication to a great experience is out of this world. Their work is not only above and beyond what you could even anticipate, but their customer service is personalized and they are a pleasure to work with. I will use them again and again and urge anyone looking for a first-rate detail to give them a try. You'll be glad you did.

You will not find a better car detail business. Period.
I was so thoroughly impressed by the service that I will suggest Ken and his company to everyone I know. My car simply never looked better and it was more affordable than other places I've been to in LA. Then, you consider that it was done completely outside my apartment while I worked away inside, well, that's just a sweet deal you cannot beat.
If you are even slightly thinking you might give this company your business, just stop wasting your time: call them now. Seriously. One of the most customer service orientated businesses I have dealt with in recent history. -

I found Ken and his team on Yelp, and wasn't disappointed. Top-notch service (they come to you!), top-notch work, and the chaps (Salvador and Jose) are friendly to boot.
Now these guys are pricey, but for the convenience of having them pick up and drop off your car, and for Ken's keen eye for details and meticulous labor -- down to shining the chrome on my Bimmer's exhaust pipe! -- I would say they are definitely worth it. Despite being one busy fellow, it's nice also that Ken is reachable at all hours on his cellphone, and very flexible on schedules and such.
I've had numerous outfits detail my beloved over the past three years, but so far, Ken is the best.
Put it this way: I thought my car was in excellent condition, inside and out. Detail USA showed me how wrong I was, and has irrevocably raised my personal bar for car grooming (which unfortunately means spending a lot more money henceforth on car detailing, but wot the heck.
The deluge of 5-stars says it all better than I can. -

It's a rare treat when someone not only does what they say they'll do -- in the time they say they'll do it -- but, overdelivers! When Ken showed up with his team, I asked how long it would take to detail my car. He said something that made me expect 2-3 hours. Well 59 minutes later there was a knock at my door and the car was done.
Not only done, but detailed to a degree I've never experienced before. Everything looked like new. He even went above and beyond and used some sort of plastic polish on the fold down rear window and got rid of the dirty horizontal scuff mark that had been getting worse and worse and no other detailer had every gotten rid of.
I'm telling you, this car looked great.

My girlfriend hired Detail USA to do a major detail on my very, very neglected 2001 Suburban as a surprise birthday present. I have not washed this truck for about 3 years and the inside was really gross. I had also been a long time smoker that recently quit and the truck stank from cigs to the point of making me sick every time I opened the door. I arrived home from work to find Ken and his team finishing up. Let's see.. My truck looks pretty much as good as it did when I bought it new 11 years ago. The leather interior which was heavily soiled to the point of being kinda gross was spotless.
And the biggie! NO MORE cig smell! It's gone. I've had "details" done in the past by others, turns out I've been getting ripped off. I was blown away by detail USA, want it done right? Call them, end of story. -

Ken, you really deserve the stars you get here. When I first called Ken, I expected him to sorta look like that one dude with the long hair on TMZ with the surfer attitude. Haha. Anyway my car hasn't been fully detailed by him yet, but he let me come over and get some things cleaned on my Mercedes that I couldn't. Free of charge!
If you've read my reviews I'm super OCD about a lot of stuff (clothes, furniture, cars, food, etc). Basically some water spots kept leaving rings on my tan interior when I was trying to clean a spot off (yea I didn't know water could "stain" either, pure water!!) and Ken was able to use some of his secret citrus based cleaner to get it off entirely. He then showed me how he cleans leather (much deeper clean than others) and even referred me to one of his contacts that works on interiors (the guy he referred me to is considered the master at interior restoration and even works for the show Pimp My Ride). He even offered to teach me how to detail my own car and teach me some stuff so I don't gotta use him as often. Also, he set me up with his ding removal guy, Leo (check out my review on Dings and Dents PDR) who turned out to be AWESOME and very reasonably priced.
I've detailed my old cars before and I can assure you that Ken goes beyond that, just from what he showed me he can do. He polished my exhaust pipe, cleaned one of my leather seats, took out those dang water ring stains in my interior, and gave me referrals to fix my car for MUCH cheaper and the same quality as highly rated body shops. All for free. He is a good person. I've got to do some other things to the car before I come back to Ken, but I am taking my car to him. When I start really balling it up and have an Aston Martin, I am gonna purchase his monthly service. -

Ken and his team (Jose and Salvador) did an amazing job detailing my vehicle, which is 4 years old and had never been thoroughly detailed before.
Besides my car's newfound cleanliness and shininess, what stood out most was Ken, Jose, and Salvador's attention to detail. For example, they took time to show me just how deep under the car they clean (ridiculously far back under the chasis). And then, just as the sun was setting and the team was about to leave, Ken noticed a small area on the roof of my vehicle that still had some residual polish on it. He quickly ran back to his truck, grabbed a cloth, and took his time wiping it away. Many detailers may have just let that small bit of polish sit there -- it was, after all, barely visible and on the car's roof -- but Detail U.S.A. isn't your typical detailing service I guess.
Look forward to recommending and using them again. -

If I could give Ken more than five stars I would! About a month ago I was looking around yelp for auto detailers in LA and came upon Detail U.S.A. I am trying to sell my Corvette Z06 and needed somebody who knew what they were doing.
I went to ken's website and easily booked the detail using his online service and a few days later Ken came with his crew to detail the car. Ken drove up with his truck and two of his employees and got to work right away. Ken was also great in both calling and texting me the day of the appointment to let me know when he was on his way.
I met him at my house and went back to my office for a few hours and waited for his call. Almost four hours later I got the call from Ken that it was time to come over. Let's just say that I was in utter shock when I drove up and saw the car. The car wasn't in bad condition but the level of detail that Ken and his crew went to is simply amazing. The exterior looked brand new and the interior looked as if nobody had ever been in it.
I highly recommend Ken and his crew and will be calling Ken again when it's time for another detail! -

I really can't say enough positive things about Ken and his great crew. The car looks better than I have ever seen it. It's 7 years old, but even the rubber and keyholes look brand new - who knew my keyholes could be silver and shiny?? The surface felt smooth and soft, to the point where I just sort of wanted to pet it.
Ken was beyond thorough, jumped like a grasshopper and ran over with a rag and solvent when I saw a scuff, and then spent time buffing out some paint splotches from some unknown prior repair job. Honestly the car looks spectacular. I drove it back to the garage in my socks, so I wouldn't ruin the still-drying carpet.
It doesn't get better, would totally recommend Ken to anyone! -

DETAIL is the key word. They cleaned places in my car I didn't even know existed, and now my 5 year old looks better than the day she rolled out of the dealer! They were friendly, efficient, and came right to my place. They even gave me a heads up when they were on the way, and were right on time. Now I don't want to drive my car again for fear of dirtying it, but once the inevitable happens, I'll have them back.

Kenny and his guys are awesome. First off....You don't get a nicer guy than Kenny.....but let's face it.....being really nice only matters so much. In the end, it's about the job being well done. Well, Kenny and his crew have that covered too. To start, Kenny makes the scheduling easy as can be. And the beauty of it all is that THEY COME TO YOU. Once they were there, Ken and his team (Salvadore and Jose) were like a three headed cleaning, shining, buffing machine....and my car was completely filthy....inside and out. These guys cleaned part of my car that I didn't even know existed. AND they cleaned things in the car that I had no hope for ever getting clean. The entire thing....SPOTLESS!!! By the time they were finished I was BLOWN AWAY. Gunk from trees on the paint...SPOTLESS. Spilled milk and filth from having three kids on the inside.....SPOTLESS. Rims that were so dirty I was thinking about replacing them.......SPOTLESS. It was as close to getting a new car without buying one. Again, I was blown away by the end result.
If you're thinking about getting your car detailed, and you care about punctuality, accountability, and a kick ass job done for a reasonable price by a great team that could not be more polite and accommodating.....DETAIL USA is the only way to go.
I would highly recommend DETAIL USA to anyone who want quality work done, no matter what the condition of their car.
These guys will clean it like it's never been cleaned and totally make your day in the process.

I took advantage of a yelp certificate and was glad I did -- Ken and his guys did an amazing job waxing my car and detailing the interior. The next day he called to follow up, and when I told him about a small problem, he came back out and fixed it perfectly. It's so nice to experience great customer service -- too often, you spend your money and the vendor treats you like they're doing you a favor. But in this case, I couldn't be happier with Ken's expertise and great attitude.

Bought a yelp discount coupon for a detail service.
I have to say that this was a great detailing service...Ken and his guys made sure that my car was spotless! It looks almost like the day I bought it from the dealer! Since my car was parked under a tree for over a month, I was worried that they wouldn't be able to get all the stuff off but that was definitely not a problem. Went way beyond expectations!
It was nice that they come out to where you are and do the detailing, I didn't have to drive somewhere and wait.
-- Side note:
My car doesn't get moved very much since I am working a lot out of town these days so I guess that can tend to run a battery down/dead. Well, low and behold, after they were done detailing my car....it wouldn't start. No worries, we had jumper cables! That would have been just fine but apparently the cable got switched and when they went to jump my car, the main fuse blew. Took awhile to figure out but Ken called AAA and called several people and they finally figured it all out. Because it was a fault on their end, Ken went and picked up the main fuse from the dealership down the street and came back to fix it and then jump my car. That was great and it made me happy as I was a bit worried during it all.
Anyways, thank goodness I didn't have anywhere to be until the night time and everything was taken care of in the end. I highly recommend this detailing service and was more than pleased with it all. :) -

If you're looking for the best car detailing team in the LA area, stop right here. You've found them.
Ken and his team are the best detailing service I've ever used. I've had other cars detailed by other services, and none come close to the level of care and detail that Ken and crew delivered on my black on black MB. Best two fity I ever dropped on the car. The surface of the car was so smooth when they were done, you could literally just blow the dust right off of it.
Ken rolled in on time, and ready to go when he got here. After hours of hard work, I almost didn't want to drive my car again - it looked that good! On top of that he dealt with a cranky neighbor too - above and beyond the call of duty. He also took the time to point out minor flaws, and followed up with a phone call just to make sure everything was as good as it could be. He makes you feel like you and your car really matter.
Seriously, have you ever seen any business with a better rating than this one? There's a reason for it - these guys rock! -

Ken is good. He came by to detail the interior of my car. He had quoted me one price, and when he arrived, he immediately increased the price. I was not happy about that. When he was done, I had to rush to a meeting, and while driving I noticed he had missed a few spots. He's def. not inexpensive. So I sent him a text. And before you know it, he and his crew, showed up at the AAA office when I had to go, and they spent about ONE HOUR going over EVERYTHING! Not to mention, he offered to reimburse me the additional charge. I told him that he truly earned his money, and to keep it. He cares, and makes sure you're truly happy with his job.

Every bit as good as they say - car really hasn't looked so good since left the showroom...6 long years ago. These guys really worked hard for hours - getting sand out of every crevise, polishing the tailpipes, scrubbing and polishing everything inside and out.
If like me this was your first detail in many years - do give Ken and the boys a little extra - they definitely earn it! -

Wow I had to write a review as soon as Ken left my house.
I just got my father's Audi A4 3.2T (yeah it's pretty friggin' rad) this morning after a 10-day cross-country shipment and I found my dad had placed some odd Om symbol stickers on the front and back bumpers.
Doesn't quite match my aesthetic and wanted to get rid of them ASAP. (Sorry dad.)
I was convinced I'd peel half of the car apart if I tried it myself so I checked Yelp, saw Detail USA's reviews and thought I'd price it out. Ken called within an hour with an estimated quote and was at my door within a couple of hours.
He checked out the sticker issue and saw all they needed was a good thumbnail to pick at them and some solvent. So he went to work on probably the simplest job ever, buffed off the remaining adhesive and then even showed me how I could buff out and fill in a key scratch that was on the side of the car.
And he only charged me 20 bucks even though he drove all the way out here to find the job wasn't nearly as difficult as expected.
And after he showed me what a full-on detail job will do to protect the car (he cleaned and buffed part of the rear hood so I could see first-hand why it's worth the money) I knew I'd be calling him to give the Audi (her name is Eleanor) a full-blown detail job.
In fact, I'll be calling him on Monday to set up an appointment. -

This dude came in and basically re-skinned my black G35 in about 3.5 hours. I've had my car fully detailed 10+ times in the 5 years I've owned it and this was the best experience I've had in terms of both service and work quality. Amazing deal at $275 for the full interior/exterior + machine polish detail. No reason to even consider using anyone else.

Ken and his team are great! he was really accommodating after I had to make a few last minute appointment changes, but on the day he arrived exactly on time and set to work on a complete detail of the car. Almost 4 hours later it looked brand new. Paint was soft, leather clean, cigarette smells gone. Was perfect. Always smiling, Ken has a a really great approach to customer service and follow up. Top class.

This is my new favorite Yelp find! Ken and his crew did an amazing job on my super dirty Mini. I had the hand wax and deluxe cleaning and to be honest it is the best my car has looked since I drove it off the lot. They spent their time cleaning every nook and cranny. I highly, highly recommend Detail USA, especially since their prices are competitive with other car washes, but they come to your house and do a WAY better job.

This review is a little late but definitely worth the wait.
I called Ken to do my final before-turn-in inspection of my 2008 Nissan Versa. Since this was my first time going through this process and had obviously heard all the horror stories, I wanted this shiz done right the first time.
Ken was totally surfer-dude laid back but seemed to take his job really seriously. He set up a time and though we had some back & forth over text on the time, he and his band of merry men (2 other guys) arrived promptly within the agreed upon time range.
I just kinda reiterated what my end-game goal was (uh, to NOT be charged a million bucks when I turn in my cheapo car), pulled the car out and ran back inside my place to get back to work.
A few hours later, Ken texts me to run down to come check out their work and I'm stoked. The car looked phenomenal! Carpets, interiors, wheels - the works. All from the comfort of my own home... you can't beat that. Ken even noticed that my car had been in a tiny accident (with my very aggressive carport pillar that I swear jumped out and ran into my right fender while I was parking) but did his best to hide the paint overspray and assured me that the bodyshop *did* do a good job and Nissan probably wouldn't ding me.
And in the end he was right! Zero charges on my lease-turn-in inspection and a generous tip to Ken and his diligent detail experts. Ken's great - you pay a bit more with home-delivery but it is sooo worth it. -

I could not be more pleased with Ken and his team. They arrived on time, cleaned the car in my driveway while I worked inside, kept in constant communication and were all smiles! They did a fantastic job detailing the car and had me inspect when they were finished to be sure they hadn't missed anything and ask if there were any specific spots that I thought might need extra attention. They even went through the things they'd pulled out of the car to clean to see what I wanted to throw out and what I wanted them to put back where they'd found it. Ken is great with email, scheduled and confirmed my appointment that way and followed up afterward to be sure I was 100% satisfied. Amazing, professional, kind and above expectations, not to mention extremely convenient!
