Jeff did a fantastic job helping me with my car! I'm very impressed at his work ethic, attention to detail, and customer service.
Recently, a white mineral substance dripped on the top of my car from the parking garage that I store it in. I had tried several times to scrub it off myself and it wouldn't come off. When I took it to Detail Plus, Jeff promptly started working on it and was able to buff all of the substance off. When he was done, it looked as good as new! I would definitely return and recommend their work. -

Great work done. Was selling my old car and came here to get it detailed to get the best price out of it. Definitely worth the investment, was able to get over 10% above blue book value for it. Got the full service detail with full interior shampooing, steam engine cleaning and wax/touch up. You can bring your own touch up paint and they fix small scratches for you.
Also, before this, the car's AC wasn't working and was told I needed a new compressor. Which was apparently wrong because after the steam cleaning the AC worked like new. Must've been the wiring or something was clogged.
Anyway, these guys do a good job. Though it does take a full 5-6 hours for them to really DETAIL it. So have someone drive with you. -

Warm, personable customer service. High quality job for definitely the reasonable price they promise.
Have gone twice - once last November, and again just this August. Both times, a full interior/exterior, with clay bar, tire shine, engine clean, etc.
I love the little details - they shampoo the carpets and put all your random stuff that's isn't obvious trash into a plastic baggie and leave that in the car instead of leaving it all cluttered on the seat. They use a plastic sheet for the driver's side (because the paper kind would soak through).
I had sap all over my car - no one said anything. I had recently scuffed up the hubcap and tire - they looked 99% brand new.
I got the winter special when I went in Nov. I got a callback from Renee in late July/early Aug offering a discount "recall" rate for the same service, telling me the original regular price, so I was like, cool, I'll come back, I had a great experience the first time.
The first time they missed some spots with the wax but it was not as sunny/obvious at that time of year.
Yesterday when they were finished they only missed one spot that I can tell as I walked around it.
On the way out got a warm thank you and a hand shake and the quip that I can't be missed in my car. (It's "burnt sienna" or something like that, basically dark red orange). But my baby was gleaaaaming on the inside and out and I could finally stop feeling embarassed riding around in my dingy unloved sports car. Now, she's back to being a candy coated car drop.

I recently took my 2003 Honda Civic here for the Detail Plus #3 Package. I've never had my car detailed before, my car was dirty outside and in.
They have the winter special on the #3 package for $175, full interior and exterior detail, including engine clean and dress. When they were done, my car was the blackest and shiniest I had ever seen since I bought it! The carpet and seats were shampooed and looked brand new. Everything under the hood was nicely polished too. Going to sell this car and it should be easy! Great work and very nice people. -

Fantastic work, I'd give more stars if I could.
They drove me back to work after dropping my car off and showing them a few scratches that I wondered if they could do anything about. After they called me back to let me know the car was ready I was told they "did the best they could with them". I can't even find them now, no matter how hard I look..
Professional, courteous, perfectionists. I don't know what more to ask for in a car detailer. -

Jeff is tremendous: inexpensive, quick, and professional. I went two years between details, and my car (a 2004 Lexus GS) was a total mess on the inside: mud from the dog on leather seats, caked on dirt one the center console and steering wheel, etc. Jeff took it for a day, made it look like new, and I got $1000 above KBB on my trade-in a few weeks ago. I highly recommend.

Great experience! It was Tuesday when I arrived at Detail Plus at 7:30am for an interior detail since I puked in the passenger side a few days ago. Although most of it was cleaned, some crawled down the side of the center console and chunks were lodged into the nooks and crannies of the track below.
Fantastic service! Jeff was prompt in helping me. After taking my information and assessing the damage, he only charged me 25 extra.He later dropped me off at work and said he would let me know when my car was ready for me.
Jeff called around 3:00pm notifying me that my car was ready. When I got there I was pleased when examining my car. The inside was clean, spotless, and shiny. I was surprised that they washed my car for me as well, even though I only requested the interior detailing.
At home, I looked at the tracks and there were still some residue. No biggie, I just used a paper towel and wrapped it around a chopstick to dig the rest out.
I highly recommend Detail Plus for your auto detailing needs. I would definitely come back to get exterior detail next time. -

I dropped the car off around noon, they drove me back to work and then they called me to tell me my car was ready, exactly when they said they would. I generally expect my car to be absolutely spotless after detailing, but maybe that's too much to expect because it's never happened with any detailing service.
They did a good job overall, but I later checked some areas on the doors that were still dusty, so they didn't really get all the nooks and crannies. If I had time to check while I was still there, I'm sure they would've taken care of it, but it would've been nice if they hadn't missed it in the first place.
Still, I would recommend them and will probably go back. -

Jeff drove me to work at 7:30 am, when I dropped off my car and transformed my dog haired, orange peel under the seat, and scratched up bumper car. I brought touch up paint, which they kindly applied to my many parking umm.. "situations".
Although, I have never opened the hood to check the engine, they cleaned that too and it was very shiny. : )
I got the Winter Special, with $50 off and had my car back by 5:30 the same day.
It smells like lemons.
He seems like a sincere guy and I am happy with my clean car.. now to the fun part of messing it up again! -

I had my car detailed today for $125 (full Interior) + $20 (pick up & drop off). Definitely not the cheapest option out there, but you pay for the convenience and the level of service. The car looked great afterwards and didn't smell too bad (I was worried about the smell of chemicals, etc. but it wasn't too bad); it was painless for me (they picked it up from work and dropped it off, so I didn't have to go anywhere, wait for service, etc.). They take credit card when the job is done. Overall, a well run operation.

Originally, I came in to get this tree sap out of my black RSX. My right fender, part of my hood, windshield, and mirror had this sticky sap stuck onto it. After figuring out that trying to wash it off while it was still fresh was only spreading the damage, I waited for it to harden.
I used a variety of chemicals that were said to help remove this tree sap, but none worked (note: some people recommended nail polish and such strong chemicals but the car would need to be waxed and polished immediately after to protect the clear coat that would be removed, I did not want to do that). It eventually hardened and had this nasty white color that looked disgusting against the black paint.
I called in and Jeff said he would take a look at it. When I came in he quoted me 45 bucks to remove the tree sap. I agreed and he quickly got rid of it with this chemical and just a towel. He polished the area and it looked like new. I was stunned that his short 15 minutes of work was more efficient than my days of research and hours laboring on the stain.
He offered to detail the whole car for 150 and that the 45 could be credited within that total. He noticed there were some really bad scruffs on the hood and bumper due to the previous owner's care which he said he could probably get rid of, although not 100%, it would be significantly gone. With results quickly and amazing as that, the offer was too good to pass up.
After receiving a free one way ride home and receiving a call about 4 hours later to pick up my car, I was amazed at how he removed the hard scratches and scruffs and my car looked basically brand new. The interior of my car was cleaned and vacuumed and my windows were spotless. Of course the really bad scratches were still slightly visible, but someone who had never seen my car would barley notice unlike before.
Unfortunately, I got my car detailed on a rainy day so I was unable to really look at how my car looked until 2 days later when it was sunny. I was a little disappointed to see some swirl marks remaining. I called up Jeff he glady would look at the car again, I set up an appointment and came in.
After the 2nd time around, the car looked much better. What I really like about how Jeff does business is that everything is explained and questions are answered thoroughly. He told me what would be done on the car, what the purpose of the clay bar was, and the sequence of how the car would be detailed. As I stood around waiting for my car to be redetailed, I noticed he attention to detail as well as his awareness to his surroundings. As he walked by cars he would touch up little things he noticed and quickly attend to difficulties his workers or other customers were experiencing.
The reason why this review is long is because I feel the time dedicated and spent on my car should be returned back in this review. Hopefully other yelpers will not be intimidated by this long review and really understand that Jeff and Detail Plus is a go to spot for your detailing needs. Although my car is not in 100% pristine condition as I would hope, it's definitely close, which is a huge improvement from the damage it has endured with it's previous owner as well as my laziness to wash my car recently.
If this review is not convincing, at least check out this place and talk to Jeff. Watch how he attends to each car and the detail he gives to it. You can tell he knows what he's doing and isn't afraid to answer your questions. A business that is willing to follow through on a customer's concern without charging extra is definitely one worth bookmarking. A big thanks again Jeff and to your workers for being a honest business and restoring my car back to the condition it deserves to be. -

I've had my car for less than one year. I bought it used and when you buy from a private dealer its usually detailed and what not. WRONG. My car had all kinds of swivels and light scratches you could see. Even after cleaning and washing my car they were still really noticable.
My GF surprised me and told me we were going to get my car detailed. We've been there before to get her interior cleaned. When we picked up her car, we saw a car that was already detailed (Pkg 3). It looked new! It was amazing. It looked like a brand new car from the dealership.
So, I took my car in Valentine's day weekend. Brought it in at 10am (make an appt) they called at 3pm. RIGHT ON TIME! Drove over to Sunnyvale and OMG! JUST LIKE NEW. Interior, under the hood, and exterior clean. The light scratch marks GONE. Swivel marks, GONE!.
I couldn't be any more pleased with their work. Although it just rained, my car still looks brand new. The water jus sheets off like it was resilient.
I will definately come back in 6months to get it done again.
FYI they have a winter special for 175. Check it out. It's WORTH YOUR MONEY! -

I took my car in for a body detail that is roughly $150. Upon picking up the car, I said "wow it is like new" and ready to give this place at least four stars. This lasted for two days until it rained ...
Unlike other details places I went in the past, this place does not mask the body trim during waxing and buffing. As a result there is a lot of wax residue in the body trim, molding, etc. You don't see it when it is done but it shows up after raining. -

I've been a customer here for... about 2 years now, I believe. I come in about once a month, and tend to keep up with the 6-month cycle on the wax and paint sealant. I keep coming back even though the job is not always perfect. Why? Because Jeff pays attention to his customers and provides good service. For that, I could live with a couple of water spots here and there.
Jeff knows me on sight now, and knows what car I have when I call for an appointment. Last time I went in, even though it was a Sunday afternoon and they appeared to have their hands full, he saw me drive up and had my work order half written out by the time I walked into the office. Also, every time I come back to pick up the car after the regular wash (the $30 one only takes about half an hour so I go to the Starbucks down the street to wait), I always see Jeff working on my car himself. This, folks, is how you build customer loyalty. -

I typically have a very clean car inside, and most will say, "Wow, your car is so clean!" I just like it that way. Sadly the outside isn't pristine as I have had to park it outside for a year (UGH!) and it drives me nuts to not have a clean car AT. ALL. TIMES. I checked good old Yelp and found "Detail Plus" and the many many many five-star reviews. I called Friday and got an appointment for Saturday afternoon.
Is it wrong to be excited about having a detail appointment??
Honestly, I was really itching to get my car to the shop...oh, btw, they are on EAST El Camino in Sunnyvale. Remember, S'Vale has east and west ECR. Why!!!??? Don't ask. Not only is the exterior clean and shiny (clay bar and sealant), the interior is clean and fluffy (leather seats conditioned, steam cleaned carpets), AND the engine is pristine! I mean clean enough to eat off of. When Jeff showed me the engine I was blown away as it was showroom clean. I got Detail #3 for $224 + tip. My car looks amazing. If you go back every six months it's $160 rather than $224 for the same service. -

I took my car in to get it detailed because I was selling my car, and it was a mess. I have a dog and I let him sit in the back seat. Needless to say, there was dog hair EVERYWHERE and my car smelled like him. I was really nervous going in because I thought I was going to be charged an arm and a leg above the regular price to get all the dog hair out, but he only charged me $40 more. That was a very reasonable quote, considering the regular detail price was a lot cheaper than any other detail shop in the bay.
When I came to pick up my car, I was amazed. Not a single dog hair was left and my car smelled like lemons. It was like a brand new car! Even though I live in Seattle and was just in town for the holidays visiting family and selling my car, I will definitely come back if I'm ever in town again and would recommend this detail shop to all my friends back in nor cal. I still can't believe they were able to get it so clean given the condition I brought it in with! -

This place does amazing work!
I had the complete interior cleaned on my 97 accord that I just purchased. The interior was trashed, like it had never seen a detail job in a day of its life.
It took one guy, (Gabe) 4 hours to clean the entire interior of my car. Carpets shampooed, even the seat belts were shampooed. He even cleaned the spare wheel well.
Make sure you tip these guys well, since they're sweating there balls off wiping away grime and stains of unknown etiology on your rides.
I am completely and utterly satisfied with their work. My interior is mint looking like the day it rolled off the assembly line.
Highly recommended. Slow turn around, because of the attention to detail. So it might take alllll day.
My only gripe is that it took 2 days for the carpet to dry. -

The first time I took my car here, they did a phenomenal job. They certainly lived up to all the five stars they have here on Yelp. Detail Plus provides a discount if you return within 6 months, and will even call you to remind you. I received a voicemail indicating that I had 30 days to return and they would do the detail for $185 (big vehicle). When I arrived, they said that was wrong, it was going to be $200. Strike one. The next day, they called to let me know the vehicle was done and ready to be picked up. It was close to the end of a very long day, so I was in a hurry and didn't notice they hadn't cleaned the windows, or the mirrors, and their was still mud in the wheel wells. Strike two. When I went back to get the windows cleaned, the owner said it was because of the "angle" that they hadn't noticed it wasn't fully clean. Complete lie. Strike three. It was obvious the windows had not been cleaned at all, not that they were improperly cleaned. Moreover, they didn't apply the RainX they were supposed to. No apology, lies, and a put upon attitude ... not exactly a winning recipe for repeat business.
In any case, I'm done with this place. For $265, I can get a top notch detail in a lot of places and I won't have to go back to remind them to clean the windows. Heck, even a $20 car wash comes with clean windows.
Update: After initially giving this business a one star, the owner called to provide me with an apology. I've never had that sort of response from any business I've ever interacted with and I think it speaks volumes about the level of service they usually provide. Everyone makes mistakes and that's to be expected. It's not the mistake, it's the recovery. The call went a long way to changing my attitude and has improved my rating. -

Went by reviews and took two cars there.Should have taken one first to see if they would do a good job.I was very disappointed.$425 for two cars!!!!(it did include under the hood cleaning) was very expensive and I was not impressed.Seatbelts were still dirty!Maybe they were too busy that day to do a good job.

I planned to sell my SUV as soon as the car I ordered to replace it arrived. I did a lot of research about what kind of a price I should expect for my 9-year-old car in this area.
I had a couple of problems to fix and then I explored options for detailing the car, which was basically in pretty good shape. The first place I looked at a car they just finished, and I was appalled at the mediocre job done. I'd seen a friend's car after it visited Detail Plus and the result was immaculate.
I made an appointment with Jeff at Detail Plus, dropped the car off, and received a good-as-new car back later in the day. They had done an amazing job of attention to detail. They even used touch-up paint for scratches in addition to buffing out other marks.
I had planned to put the car on a lot, but instead I took pictures of the cleaned-up SUV, posted them on Craigslist, and sold the car for what I had wanted to get for it the next morning. Who could ask for more? -

I just came here again and took advantage of the $165 Deal Plus 3 Winter special. Full exterior, interior, and even under-the-hood engine bay detail service. I have a black 350z with custom 20" chrome and black rims which is kinda like having an extremely high maintenance girlfriend. Keeping her all done up and happy take a lot of $$$ or tons of elbow grease. This deal was hard to pass up so I didn't.
No cheap wax here. They only high quality paint sealant here. My car came out looking stunning! I brought it in ignored and mistreated due to all the intermittent rain over the past couple months and she came back looking better than brand spankin' new. The did a great job on the interior too without leaving a greasy finish. Even the engine bay looked pristine. I kinda feels like I got 20 extra ponies after the detail too. :-p
Now that the rain is gone for now - take advantage of this great deal and phenomenal service! I'll be back in 6 mos for a re-application exterior paint sealant to keep my miZtress protected and glowing.

What can we say other than absolutely incredible service! We took our beat up, kid ravaged 2004 Nissan Quest in for it's 7-year detail not quite sure what they could do to help. After leaving it for the full day we were incredibly surprised to find a showroom looking vehicle that was actually ours! The leather was as clean as it was the day the vehicle was purchased as was the formerly beige and brown upholstery and the carpets as well. Detail Plus is the ONLY place we'll take our vehicles to be detailed int the future!

Wow! I took my car down there to get cleaned up because I was planning on selling it. I did a little research beforehand and I had decided to get package #2 which was a full inner and outer detailing. However, when I arrived at the shop the salesman informed me of their "Winter Special" which is basically package #3 but for about $30 cheaper than what package #2 was. Sweet! About 4 hours later my car was ready and I was impressed! Inside and outside were immaculate and the steam cleaning of the car's innards under the hood was showroom quality.
Sure, you could take your car to an inferior budget place and pay $30 for a car wash but it won't come close to what you'll get from an well done car detailing. It feels like I'm driving a brand new car and I'm now having second thoughts about selling it! -

Unbelievable service. Had the pleasure of dealing with Mike & Jeff on two separate occasions and they were first class, upstanding men of the variety where a handshake actually means something.
When I pointed out that a few spots had been missed, they got onto their knees and scrubbed it out themselves. No need to call anyone else over. They take pride in their work and had no problems getting dirty to stand behind their promise.

I cannot recommend Detail Plus more strongly. My car was filthy and it looked brand new when I picked it up. I had gunk in the sides/crevices of my seats and stains on the upholstery and overhead liner. All of that was gone. I got the winter special for $175 which is pricey but it was worth it. I know had I tried to do the job myself, it would have taken FOREVER and time is money.
The service was fabulous and accommodating, I was given a ride to work in the morning.
I've never had my car detailed before but I think I will make this a regular practice to keep my car in good condition. I wish I'd taken a picture. -

Great place. They cleaned out all the pet hair embedded in the floors, mats, seats, and all the little crevices. Wish I had remembered to take before and after pictures. (Although I might have been to embarrassed to post the before)
I also asked them to remove some pink paint on my dark bumper, transferred from a bad encounter with a concrete pillar. For about a year now, my car has been tainted with this scarlet letter of bad driving. Thank goodness they were able to get rid of it. I didn't know it could be removed until I read it in another yelp review. Feels and looks like a brand new car.
As a plus, they seem like nice people. Jeff and the other guy who helped me were very courteous and friendly on the phone and in person. The floor mats weren't dry yet when I picked them up so Jeff gave me a little plastic mat to use. I'll definitely be back. -

I took my SUV here for interior detailing. The folks at Detail Plus were very professional - both over the phone and in person - and did a timely and good job overall. If there was an option for a quick carwash (instead of the more expensive exterior detailing) or if they did a complimentary wash like they do at the car service places, I would have given a 4 star rating. I'll definitely go back when it is time for the next cleaning.

I have always been extremely happy with my experience at Detail Plus. Jeff always takes the best care of me and my vehicle. The treatment to protect the seats has lasted the 8 years I have had my car! Every detail is checked out and I'm always happy to get my car back and amazed at how I can never get it to look anywhere close to the standard his shop has set. My mother in law loves this place also and raves about it to friends. I wish I lived closer, so I could get a more routine detail! Thanks Jeff for running an excellent shop!

Got Package#2 which basically cleaned exterior and interior and the wheels for $200.
I washed my bmw 6 series and it came out looking perfect. few small scratches from bird poops and rocks were all gone too from polishing.

My engine compartment was being used by the local squirrels as a drop-off point for snails, and possibly for nesting. I was advised that I should have it steam cleaned, and read online that peppermint oil might keep these critters out in the future. In about an hour and a half, Detail Plus had the area under the hood looking as if I had just driven out of the new car lot. While I was at it, I had them clean the car, so it looks wonderful in AND out. Nice people to work with. I just hope that the peppermint oil idea works!

I am amazed of the quality of their work. As a DIY'er for detailing at home using the similar machines and products i could not achieve the same level of perfection which i recieved on my vehicle. For $200 you cant beat that with your own time and work.
I am very satisfied with their work and have recommended them to my close friends. Also you get a discount for being a repeat customer. Also all the local BMW and Toyota dealers bring their CPO cars here for the restoration. -

I think this place becomes too popular and cannot handle the volume. I left my car with them in the morning and was told that it would be done in 2-3 hours. At 3 pm I called and was told that it would be ready by 5 p.m. At 6:20 p.m. they needed another 10 minutes. When I picked it up, the seats where totally wet. Hence, my shirt and pants where wet from the seat by the time I got home. It was also hard to see whether they have done a good job, while the carpet and upholstery where wet.

I was very happy with the work they did. A wash and interior clean-up. The car looks great and the people there were really nice! I was very happy and am thinking about going back to get the exterior buffed up and waxed.
