Very well maintained campgrounds adjacent to the DeSoto Falls . . .nice and woodsy spots, with tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings . . the works when it comes to a car camping site! Twelve bucks for one night, and the two trails leading to the upper and lower DeSoto Falls are close by - the trails are pretty short (not even a mile each), but they make for a quick afternoon trip before gettin' your campfire grub on.

Beware of the address you'll find on the internet (Tifton Drive), as when we GPS-ed it, it took us the wrong location - so just take 19 North from Dahlonega for about 18 miles!
