I've been to Design One several times. I used to go more frequently when Jessica, my massage therapist was still on staff. She was excellent! I've also had manicures and pedicures at both this location and the location at Rivertown.
For a spa, Design One tends to be quite busy. If you're looking for total relaxation, the atmosphere might be a little intrusive as it is also a full service hair salon. I go to another salon for my hair care, so I've never tried their stylist.
The staff however are always very attentive and accommodating.
I have been going to Design One for going on 5 years, or is it 6? They are my one-stop go to for everything. I call it my haven. If you are in need of someone who is absolutely amazing for your hair, see Mary. I love her and trust her completely to whatever she wants with my hair (which, if you know me is HUGE) because she makes my hair so fabulous! If you need anything waxed and taken care of - see Anna. She makes it as least painful as it has to be and she is so sweet and makes the time go by fast. She is also a great stylist. If you are breaking out and have skin issues or need to get your makeup done or need help with choosing skin products, there is no one more knowledgeable and who care more about your skin than Chris (she roams and is shared by all four locations - call ahead for her!). Everyone there is amazing and they make you feel like the queen of the world!
I've pretty much have tried their entire menu and have never been less than pleased. Go now! Its the best thing you can do for yourself. Walking in makes all my worries and stress melt away. Can it get any better??? Nope!
