Prompt, polite service may not be the norm . . . but we certainly got it here.

A very nice clerk, who processed my change of address and my vehicle registration in 10 minutes after a 15 minute wait for my number to be called.

Nothing like it used to be before the Governator took over . . . I had one stretch (about 10 years ago) where I filled out IN PERSON, a change of address form at a DMV office THREE TIMES before it got processed . . . this time it was done in minutes with my new registration showing my new address immediately . . .

That's the way it should be !

Smog test done, registration paperwork processed at the DMV (right across the street) - COMPLETED in less than an hour . . . is that service or what???
