Ms. Thimes is a lot like Kim Massie in that she wows me with her powerful voice. The two ladies have very different styles, but both are worthy performers in St. Louis.
Denise's style is sultry, and slow. It's jazzy through and through. She has an elegance about her that enhances her lyrical performances.
She's been compared to many of the greats, and rightly so. She's made quite a name for herself in this town.
