I can't say enough good things about Denise.  With her help, I recently closed on my first home and she was a huge help every step of the way. (I'm a homeowner now, yay! Now to buy the washing machines!)

She was totally committed to helping me find the perfect house. When the developer showed us a house in a loud and impractical location, she was as quick as I was to recognize it as not acceptable (Everyone has heard horror stories about Realtors who try and talk up every house you look at) I wanted to take the home-buying process pretty slow, and she wasn't pushy at all.

That alone was great, but she's also a very effective negotiator. She convinced the developer to replace all of the carpet on the ground floor with hardwood and replace all of the kitchen counters for free. The house looks so much more beautiful! The evening I closed, I just sat on the empty floor and admired it ( I wanted to roll around on the floor saying "my house" the way Cartman on South Park says "Kyle's Money")

We had great communication, she answers phone messages quickly and was totally willing to sit down with me and talk through every step of the process. Just so you know, she talks very fast, but I never had a problem understanding her.

She kept on top of the developer and title companies to make sure everything ran smoothly. I would have gone crazy with some of the randomness going on after closing. Seriously, people were leaving early, not doing stuff, who knows. I don't know *when* I would have gotten my house keys if she didn't keep on them.

I know I sound like a total shill, but I'm not, I just had a really good experience. Seriously, I had no idea buying my first house would be so emotional of a process, so now that it's over, obviously I have to yelp about it, right? And anyone who made the process easier totally gets 5 stars.
