This place is a pretty good diner. Cheap for the size of portion you receive. Unfortunately, the quality isn't quite there.
I ordered a gyro dinner, which for under $8 came with a side salad with dressing, gyro in pitta, and a huge side of onion rings. The portion was enormous, and being the hero I am I finished it. This is not for the feint hearted, though. I also got to try a bit of their super burger which was tasty.
Sadly, as you eat the food you are blisteringly aware that the quality of of the food is simply not ideal. The gyro might as well be named mystery meat. It was tasty though, and as a lover of donner kebabs I shouldn't complain.
All in all, reasonable food at reasonable prices. Worth a visit for the not too picky.
Demetris is one of those mom and pop burger joints that have a long-standing relationship with the people that live in the area. I first tried Demetris a few years back, and, well I just order the cheeseburger special.
The portions are pretty good for the price and the burger is delicious. I don't know what they put in it, but it's good and so are the crispy fries.
The employees there are friendly and so is the owner. I love the place--it's my comfort food when I get back to town.
