Dr Demayo does a wonderful job.  He talks to you intelligently, isn't high-pressure, and is super-competent.  I was particularly impressed when I asked him about Lasik - since he doesn't actually perform the surgery, he seemed to be an honest but informed source of information.  He clearly told me the pluses and minuses of Lasik, contacts, and glasses and helped me make the right decision for me.

And, he drives a hybrid.
