I prefer my del's out of a truck. Nothing is better on a hot day than coming upon a Del's truck. I have lived away from Providence and gotten the mix sent to me but it isn't the same as getting if from the truck! I'm sure the stores are lovely never been to one, give me a truck anyday!

I miss you Del's!
Texas is hot as balls and they have nothing that matches the sweet relief you provide. What wrong with this state!

This lemonade covers everything that matters to me with regard to a fine lemonade: cheap, tasty, convenient.
Locations are everywhere at stands and in shops throughout Providence. Service is fast, and my wallet doesn't cry. There is nothing better to drink on a hot humid summer day in Providence. Come on, try it. Your taste buds will thank you !

I grew up on Dels. NO SPOONS. I have somehow become addicted to watermelon in ...small quantities of course!
Damn, this air show is making me thirsty. Anyone else want water? Okay, hang on.

Screw this, I'm getting the frozen lemonade. Why is there no megaline for this one? I hope it doesn't suck too bad...hm...looks a little grainy...

Absolutely heavenly. The best frozen lemonade around.
With bits of lemon, the drink is infused with freshness--so refreshing on a hot summer's day. And cheap too.
I tried it for the first time in Newport and am pleased that they have a permanent location inside J&J's Candy Bar on Thayer St.
It's unfortunate that Del's is only found in Rhode Island. I will truly miss it when I go back to California.

it didn't occur to me to add booze to the drinks from here until i got home and read the other reviews. now that i think about it, a little tequila would have cut through the cloying sweetness of my watermelon-ade nicely. then again, buying one of those mini-bottles of tequila to carry around to put in my drink would make me feel like a borderline alcoholic.
i'd love to see some of these in new york, but then they would probably double the (inexpensive) prices.

if youre ever unfortunate enough to be passing through RI, console yourself with a giant stripey green cup of del's lemonade - its SO good, you'll almost believe it was worth the trip!
nothing compares to this stuff - you think you know, but you have no idea! mmmmm....sweet nectar...

Damn good stuff. Can I please bathe in this and then lick it off myself? Or maybe just add some vodka. YES!

Del's is the best lemonade in the state! Its the best on a hot summer day because it takes a while to melt and drink. Its the perfect lemony combo of sweet and tangy. They also have watermelon and cherry which are two of my faves!

Unique and indescribably delicious
In a country of strip malls and the same stores repeated over and over and over, it's a rare thing to find something unique and delicious. Del's lemonade has been natural and delicious for longer than I've been alive. There are a few vendors who have popped up in different states around the US, but the home base is RI. That's where it's at its purest and best. We discuss the subtleties of flavor and consistency and compare one location's Del's to others. There is some variation to the stuff and though some vendors churn it out of a machine, it really needs a hands-on approach.
Long live Del's Lemonade!
Runner Up for "Official State Drink of Rhode Island"
This is the absolute best part of Rhode Island, in my opinion. On a hot summer day, nothing quenches like Del's...we've even picked up the packets to make our own, but alas, it just isn't the same. And it's made with real live lemons!
Rosemary Petteruti loves Del's, a Cranston original!
