We enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere is basic... don't come here if, you want fancy accommodations. The cabins are sort of like something you might find in a small mexican town... nothing wrong with that!

The pools were open and clean... The feeling is total relaxation. There are 4 pools available which are private with locked doors.

These pools are for relaxation, not fooling around with your girlfriend.
Cabin rental includes all the soaking in the pools you can stand.

Be sure and check out the 1969 Phone Booth in the lobby... You don't see these around anymore, that's for sure!

The staff is friendly and overall it was a very unique memorable experience.
    We'll definitely come back again!

The springs themselves looked rather nice compared to the neighboring facilities. However, they showed us the springs we were going to use, then we paid, then the springs got taken while we were paying. They had shown us the room telling us that it was the room we were assigned to. Either it was  poor communication or just trying to sell it on us... so then asked us to wait 30 minutes for springs. We were trying to get home to LA before it got terribly late, so we asked not to stay and that we wanted a refund. They gave the refund, but not without making small jabs at how we are city people who "aren't used to waiting" and "can't wait 5 minutes for something". Just didn't appreciate that- though they gave us the refund without hesitation. I think life probably does move more slowly out there-- and so waiting 30 minutes probably doesn't seem like a big deal. But for weary travelers who were anxious to get home after a brief soak, we didn't want to wait. Well, now I know what they think of "people like us" lol.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Death Valley via the eastern entrance. Tecopa is a dump of a town really, and the Delight Hot Springs "Resort" is surprisingly stashed in the middle of trailer parks. That being said, we stayed in a cabin for 1 night. I would give this 4 stars, if I didn't factor in value for money. 89$ + tax is expensive for a cabin that didn't really have working electricity (had to get an extension cord for the fridge, microwave).

The redeeming value here is that the 89$ pays for unlimited access to the hot pools, which are at 104 degrees. I like my hot springs a tad bit hotter, but that's just me. The pain was that there was this family that was basically hogging the hot tubs for hours on end, so it wasn't always easy to get to use them. Once in, it was quite pleasant.

Make sure to dine / have breakfast at the nearby Bistro, which on certain days has an awesome vegetarian menu (surprising for the area). Also, China Ranch (nearby) was amazing, and great to hike.

That's a first time I ever went to hot springs of any kind and it wasn't bad at all.
We got out late on Sunday afternoon and arrived around 4pm.  There was only another couple beside us and it seemed little strange but I figured out later (duuuh ... who wants to sit in 106F water in a summer) that this place is like a ski resort :) - gets most of the people in during winter.

The place itself is pretty simple ... they have an office building with large rec room, courtyard, and 4 private pools (2 with mesh roof and 2 roofless). Inside each private pool is a shower stall and a small (10x10 or so) pool. After about 1,5 hours of soaking I was so relaxed (almost "falling apart" :) that we had to sit for a little bit on a deck so that I don't fall asleep driving back to LV :)

As other reviewers mentioned ... their cabins look pretty shabby. I didn't stay or looked inside them but I would probably not stat in them. I'd rather set up a tent in a campground down the street.

Our next visit will be when it's colder and we'll probably camp and watch stars sitting in a hot pool :) I want to check out that date farm and the french cafe too.

Overall impression: great for a day trip, cheap ($10-$15) and I guess it is good for your body too.

This is a tough review to do, because I do like this place... they have the best hot spring pools in Tecopa and I absolutely love every second of soaking in them.  So I would highly recommend getting a $10 day pass and enjoying the baths.  However I would NOT recommend staying in their cabins under any circumstances!!  Also, be wary if a certain red-haired older woman with glasses is working in the office.  She may be mentally unstable.

I'm  friends with the staff at a competing hot springs resort in town called Tecopa Hot Springs Resort, but this time my traveling companion and I chose to stay at Delight's because they really do have the best baths, and I love being able to wake up in the middle of the night, walk 50 feet from the cabin to soak in a private tub (enclosed, but open to the sky).  I knew the cabins were a little run down but I was not expecting them to be quite this bad!  First of all they have raised the price to $95 per night without making any improvements.  There is a screened-in porch on each cabin, but there are huge holes in the screen so bugs can just fly right in.  There are also no screens on the windows, which we had to open, since the a/c was only working sporadically.  And, as it turned out, all of the electricity in the cabin was working only sporadically.  We told maintenance, who were friendly, but couldn't do anything about it.   We were trying to read out on the porch in the evening, and the lights would randomly fade on and off.  Also the fridge didn't work, and there were no forks in the kitchen drawer, just a random assortment of other stuff.

The cabin was decorated very poorly.  The bedspread was a hideously colored paisley with neon green, red, turquoise and yellow, and the curtains were a completely different paisley pattern.  Both paisleys clashed badly with the grey and pink checkered carpet.  Floor in bathroom was peeling off, bathroom door didn't close fully, and walls were in desperate need of a paint job.

I would not have complained about the decor, but $95 seemed a little exorbitant for a cabin without electricity.  So in the morning, my friend went into the office to complain.  He was nice about it, but the woman totally freaked on him!  "I don't care!" she yelled.  "People don't come here for luxury accommodations!  They come here for the baths!"  When my friend said something else, she told him she was sick of his attitude and that he should never come back.  I was amazed by this response!  Even if she didn't plan to do anything, she could have pretended to care, say, "Oh, I'm really sorry, we'll have to look into that," or something.  But instead she immediately became defensive and somewhat psycho.  Not to make my review a judgment of this woman's personality, but they really need better service and facilities at a so-called "resort".

Next time, I'm staying at Tecopa Hot Springs Resort!!
