Though I didn't stay at this old victorian hotel which I understand is listed in National Register of Historic Places, I visited with many friends (and soon to be friends) at this place during a political gathering some years back.
The establishment's amenities include all the usual but what really sets this place apart is the lobby where all of us coventioneers had gathered. It looked like a very small version of the haunted "Overlook Hotel" from Kubrick's version of _The Shining_.
Also, the hotel's bar had an excellent selection of booze.
The entire building - both the outside and interior- seems to evoke a feel of the local history dating back to the beginnings of the town itself.
Guess it's only fitting that there are museum collections on display throughout the hotel.

Went on a whim to Leadville, the hotel, was clean staff very helpful and courteous to us. Accommodation clean, would love to stay there again everyone so helpful
