Tweeker tacos, this place is nuts at 3am, nuts I tell ya. It's totally drunk and surreal. The food is edible, but not delicious. It's more about the hours of operation and entertainment value of sheer insanity.

Apparently this joint is much better for lunch, not only did they get my order right, it was fresh AND tasty especially the chicken soft taco. They even brought it out to my car as I had to pull over and park because it over heated in Sacto summer's 110.

used to be called naugle's hamburgers back in the eighites, i think i went there way more back then and thought that it was pretty darned good. possibly because i was a drunk teenager. now, i don't know what my excuse is. i recently ordered a bean burrito and it came with chunks of both chicken and beef. disappointing. friends have recommended the veggie taco(burrito?) which i will one day try and hope that i don't find chunks of meat in it.  i do like their chili cheddar fries but since i rarely drink now, i don't think i will be visiting del taco too often.

For what it is, 5 stars for sure.

Over the years, my daily addictions have ranged from the
"Big Fat Crispy Chicken Taco" (RIP), to the "Deluxe Chili
Cheddar Fries" to my current "Crispy Fish Taco".

Any hang over excuse has me driving straight over there
day or night, otherwise I just cant rationalize it.

p.s. Don't ever curiously *google* the nutritional facts for
anything here, you don't want to know.......

If your not drunk then stay away from this location.

Sewer backups, junkies, and staph infections all rolled up in a stale tortilla!

Damn, this place has cured the drunken munchies many, many times.  Open 24 hours and way better than the Mcdonalds across the street.  I guess I just want to say thanks for being there for me.  4 stars not 5 cause its still fast food.

I'm going to give this five stars even though it's fast food cuz if yr going to Del Taco you know what yr getting - and that's bottom-of-the-barrel, greasy-ass "Mexican" food.
I'm here to tell you, my friends, that this K St & Alhambra location is the bottom-of-the-barrel of the barrel-bottom Del Taco chain. It's cheap, it's open 24 hrs (oh yeah, baby) and Taco Bell couldn't touch this if they *doubled* their staff of delinquent youths. Picture V&M (see review) as a fast food restaraunt.
I miss this place. They don't have Del Taco in Texas (which is probably a good thing, cuz I'd be here three times a week.) When I come back to Sac to visit, there's always a list of restaraunts I try to hit, and since I know at least one night during my visit, I'll be out late and intoxicated, I always plan a Del Taco run.
Try the spicy jack quesadilla and the veggie works burrito. And don't forget to make that cherry coke a Macho 44oz, muh-fucka!
