This campground is located on the beach, which is a plus. Sites are a little small but all have fire pits and picnic tables. No grills tho, boo. Bathrooms are very basic and showers lukewarm if you're lucky. All weekend the ladies room was clean; however the boys had a different opinion regarding their side.. Weather was ok in the daytime but freezing at night. Its probably more fun in the warmer months! They are pretty lenient about parking restrictions and theres free overflow lots. We were very loud until the wee hours with no complaints. It was kind of a pain to get everybody on base but thats the military for you. They have volleyball nets and lifeguards in the daytime. Not the best beach for surfers. It was nice to be able to camp right next to the beach and just crawl out the tent and go swimming!
