I would pick this mall anytime over greenspoint. I still feel uncomfortable about the parking lot situation since I do not see any security .

My relationship with this mall started 10+ years ago in high school. It was amazing then. New, big and had one of the largest movie theaters around. I recently visited family back home for the holidays and took a pre xmas trip to one of my favorite malls growing up.

    wow this place sucks.

The entire mall caters to children. All of the clothes are geared towards 13-16 year olds. (hollister, abercrombie, gap, pac sun, gamestop)

The place is FULL of teenagers.

I dont say that as a bad thing, just stating the facts. If you are a teen you probably enjoy it here otherwise I dont see very many shops to bring be back. There are a considerable amount of adult shops (cavenders, best buy) outside the mall and acros 59 but the mall itself is old, crowded with kids, and outdated.

This place has all the normal things malls should have. Nothing extra special.

I got a sweatshirt from A&F for a good deal.

I hate malls! So this is no different...but I won't let that interfere with my rating.

It's like any standard mall. The stores are standard- main stores are Macys, JCP, Sears, & Dillards. Along with the various retail stores, there is a movie theater inside the mall.

I like to run in and run out and the only time I really spend time walking around in the mall is on Black Friday. There are far too many tweens running around in here on the weekends. it's like parents use it as a substitute babysitter....ughhh.

They have also have a play area in the mall for smaller kids.

Overall it's no worse than any other mall I've been to (except Northline, Greenspoint, Gulfgate and Northwest) ....if you're looking for trendy stores like Hollister, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Abercrombie and Fitch then you will fair well in here...along with the sporty chains - Footlocker, Finish Line and a few other independent shops....oh 1 plus is there is a Coach store in the mall.....

I guess I'll give it a slight thumbs up

I typically avoid malls due to large crowds and an overabundance of teenagers, but sometimes you just have to go.  This mall really isn't too different from most malls.  They have made some changes in the past few years that have improved it, but it still doesn't really compare to Memorial City.  The department stores aren't as up to par and the movie theatre is dirty and full of screaming kids in R-rated movies.   I'd say go elsewhere unless it is just a quick trip.

The mall looks a little bit run down and nothing compared to the fancy Memorial City Mall or The Galleria, and not even to the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land.  It sorta reminds of the West Oak Mall.  The Food Court seems interesting, and there's an AMC inside the mall.  The best thing I've found in the Deerbrook Mall is the photo machine (see photo) at the Sanrio store located on the upper floor.  The photo machine is fun to play with and costs only 5 bucks for a sheet of pictures.  The location of the mall near the airport lets travelers do some last minute shopping, and I go to this mall only when I have to pick up some friends from the airport.

This mall is nearly full and busy. They replaced Mervyn's with Circuit City and Steve & Barry's and we all know what happened to those companies. A new total home store has opened in the former Circuit City space. Very crowded on weekends and tons of teenage punks hang out there. This mall is great on weekdays and features a comic book shop, sports fan attic, and game stop. All of the trendy shops are here for the ladies. Anchors- Sears, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, Dillard's, and Total home. The three story Macy's will reopen this summer. There is also a 24 screen theater in the middle of the food court.
