Went to Dr Drach to get a 2nd opinion when a shady dentist told me I had a cavity. His staff, including Kim the concierge, were incredibly helpful and friendly.
In addition to the convenient location, I also found the Dr himself to have an overwhelming wealth of knowledge about bruxism, which I have also been suffering from for years.
I would highly recommend he and his staff to anyone in need of a great dentist!
It's convenient, they do a good job and Dr. Drach is really funny. The Dental Assistants/Hygienists/Admins are really nice too. They remember you and are friendly. Plus when it's really hot out the office was ice cold. Can't beat that.
So I had to get cavities filled yesterday. I am not a fan of taking medication, and as a result am always thisclose to moving to a state with legalized medicinal marijuana so I can get off my anti-convulsants. Except I like it here too much. So, the next best thing is staying here and getting cavities filled without the use of novocaine or any other local anesthetic. I trust the dentists here, and apparently it was for good reason. Didn't feel a thing and was done in a half-hour/45 minutes. Good choice for dental checkups/dental work if you live in the Printers' Row area or you work in the financial district. They open early (730am), stay open late (6pm) and they are always on-call for dental emergencies. If they were only in Humana's network they'd be perfect.
I have been going to this dentist for maybe 5 years now, and am so grateful I decided to walk in the door. Very friendly staff from the front desk right down to the dentist working on making my smile whatever it can be.
I have had a few procedures done here, including one where they had to fix 2 badly damaged teeth (thank you HOB mosh pit). They are quick to answer any questions and also provide me with information that is important before I decide to spend the money on things.
You have to put a ton of faith in a person that you allow to stick sharp and violent objects in your mouth!
