5 reviews for De Bell Golf Course
DeBell is a great place to play. But, it is a tight, hilly course and you MUST be accurate with your shots. I usually walk, but I suggest riding if you are not in the mood for exercise, as it is a hilly course (starts with hole # 1).
Great restaurant also !
This is one of the better muni courses you can play. It's not super-long, but definitely challenging, especially if you don't hit the ball straight. Nestled in the hills near Castaway Restaurant, De Bell has lots of doglegs, and plenty of hills if you need the exercise. Just remember, it gets freakin' hot in Burbank in the summer! They just finished the new clubhouse, so hang around for a nice, cold beer and some halibut tacos afterwards - delicious!

Great course, even despite some rain and heavy fog when I played. Great layout of holes, many dogleg's here, although many opportunities to cut corners. Greens and tee boxes were very nice, and for the price, this course is well worth it. Fun place to play. Although foggy and wet today, course is in excellent shape. No cart girl around, but Marshall showed up 5 times. Pace was perfect. Never waited on a hole, although we did go out pretty early. just over 4 hours. Just about all putts break toward downtown Burbank and away from the mountains.

My favorite course in southern California. The layout is great and price is right. If your not hitting it straight bring a lot of balls or stay home.

Damn those doglegs! I have a serious problem with slicing my drives. I think I lost a sleeve of balls at De Bell. The fairways are pretty tight, and those doglegs . . . damn those doglegs.
Overall, a fun little course to play at. Nothing fabulous - just a muni. The greens are pretty nice. It surrounds a residential area, so you won't get any exceptional views. I guess I would describe it as your typical neighborhood course.
