We have been ordering from this place *at least* twice a month for the past 3 years. The service has been getting more and more lax, and we just don't have the time or patience to deal with it anymore.

Last night's scenario: I call to place an order for pick up. The owner himself takes the order. I ask when we should be there to pick it up, and he says, "20 minutes." I repeat to him, "20 minutes?" and he confirms it.

My boyfriend and I decide to arrive in 30 minutes instead because our last few pick up orders have never ready by the time we arrived, and we hate waiting an extra 10-15 minutes for something that should be ready for pick up.

We arrive, and the food isn't ready. I mean, how hard is it to have pre-made lasagna, chicken salad and breaded mushrooms ready in 30 minutes when there is no one in the dining area and no one waiting around for pick up orders?!

When my boyfriend tells the owner that 1) we ordered 30+ minutes ago and were told that the order would be ready in 20 minutes and 2) we've been long time customers, the owner just starts arguing with my boyfriend. What. The. Hell. ?!. So we leave and decide to spend our money elsewhere.

The girl who usually takes our orders calls me a half hour later to apologize for the fiasco. 1) The apology was too late for me to receive it graciously and 2) it probably wasn't a sincere apology since it wasn't from the owner himself, but at least she understands the idea of damage control.

I don't know what is wrong with the owner of this place, but after last night we are never ordering anything from this place again and encourage others not to either.
