Originally I went to Hair Images, but started going to DC's Nail N Beauty based on a friend's recommendation. As a person of Indian origin, and have been to many salons to get threaded, this is one of the best salon's in Atlanta. For $4, this is a great deal. Karima, the owner of the salon, is the person who threads my eyebrows. She is very polite, and a savvy business woman. She knows her regular customers by name and she will accommodate to your schedule if you arrive late and she is leaving for the day. They do promote their services when you are new customer, however, they stop doing that on your second visit and only provide the service that you ask for. I have recently moved from Atlanta and am finding out just how much people are charging in New England. I miss DC's and Karima.

This is the cheapest place to get eyebrows thread and they do a great job.I tried their facial once and I would never do that again. It wasnt a real facial it looked the same when I was done. They are just good for eyebrows.

This is my go to place for threading. I happened upon them several years ago when I relocated to the area. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is great.
I've since moved out of the area but still make my way to DC Nails whenever I need threading done. It is worth the trip to have quality work done. -

Since this was the place my friends recommended for eyebrow threading, I came with high expectations. The first time I tried to come here I accidentally went to Natural Identity right next door (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
So this week I came to DC after work. The store was pretty quiet- there were 3-4 ladies working. I sat down and immediately the woman that was threading my eyebrows started to promote their other services.
Now I know that the economy's bad, and I know you gotta promote your services. But as a customer, I HATE IT when beauty/health workers ONLY push their services when they're working on me (be it a hair salon, nail salon, or an eyebrow place).
So this woman that's working on my brows not only promote once, but twice their facial (oh, you get the threading free if you get the facial). I don't care, I don't have time today. Then she offers to thread my lip. I know I've got some hair on my upper lip, but I just like to bleach it at home, thankyouverymuch.
So all in all, she tried to sell me other services 3 times in a span of less than 10 minutes. Sure, the threading was good. But I just didn't appreciate that kind of customer service when the only thing you want is more money out of your customer (especially as a first-time customer).
In conclusion, I think I'll go next door again for threading at Natural Identity. At least they can carry on a conversation with the customer. -

I never had my eyebrows threaded before and decided to go with this place since it was close to my apartment, cheap and I read good reviews on yelp.
I walk in, it's very informal and I am promptly seated. The lady looked at the hair on my arm and stated that I have light hair and I agree with her.
Then she proceeds with the threading. I never knew that you heard the threads as they worked. This was a little unnerving, but kind of cool in a beauty scientist kind of way.
I thought it would hurt as much as waxing but I have never felt anything like this before so it hurt as much as the first time I got waxed. It's always kind of painful when your hair is forcibly removed from your skin.
She threaded and trimmed my eyebrows and there is a .50 charge to use a card, but whatevs. So when I get in my car I take a serious look at my brows.
There is a little blood, but with my skin, and waxing/threading that is normal. She had missed a few of the hairs under the brows, which come on... Also the brows were a little too close together.
All in all it was worth it for the $4 but I just need to realize I will have to do some touch ups when I get home -

I thought I had hit the jackpot when I discovered (thanks to Yelp) Hair Images. $7 for eyebrow threading, what a steal. Little did I know their was a much better place 5 minutes away...
DC Nail's is a tiny little shop in a plaza off of Church St. Pay only $4 to get your eyebrows threaded. The ladies who work there are warm and friendly and chat with you as they work, making sure your eyebrows are just the way you like them.
Great service, short wait and dirt cheap prices - what more could you ask for? -

My sister has been going here for years, but I always hated threading...looked too painful. A recent trip to India made me conquer my fear and now I love it. So, I went here yesterday afternoon as a walk-in. They only charge $4 for eyebrows, which is insanely cheap. They saw me within like 15 mins, and the ladies are extremely nice. You can tell the clients are regulars because the ladies really seem to know them. This place is tucked away next to the Indian grocery, Patel Brothers, and behind Zyka, but the service is quality and the price is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!

By far best place in Atlanta for threading. It's in a very unassuming shop, but the ladies that work there are the best. It's very affordable and they are pretty consistent with the quality. Sad to have moved farther away recently, but worth the hike.
