Yeeeah. I'm a dedicated fan of the Days Inn in San Luis Obispo because of its tidiness and clean linens. I am NOT a fan of this branch. How do I detest thee? Let me count the ways:
--They only offered a single van as a shuttle to the park, and every time, the other guests b--d/moaned/fought each other to get on. Not fun.
--We had a room right next to the maids' quarters. We suspect that they gave us a wake-up call at 9 one morning because we weren't out yet. And there was no sleeping in--if it wasn't the maids chattering, it was a screaming child at 7 a.m. in the parking lot. I'd definitely take the random people banging on our door in the middle of the night, as in SLO, rather than this annoyance.
--The linens. Ohhh, the linens. They were sometimes stained, and I swear to God, there was pubic hair on one of them! Ewwww!
--The conditon of the room itself: paint was peeling on the bathroom door; the bathroom had a dirt buildup/stains near the door, and the shower had this ghetto head protruding from the wall. It wasn't fastened--it was hanging out like some kind of bizarre metal elephant's trunk and swinging in the breeze.
In short, don't stay there. Stay at the Sheraton or the Doubletree in Orange--you'll have a far better time.
I was here 4 days and 3 nights.
