I usually stay here when I visit my parents in Nanuet. I like it. I get the business suite: king size bed, including wifi, flat screen, jacuzzi, 2 sofas, desk & fridge.

    They allow pets.
    Housekeeping is alright...

Prices change with time of year & holidays but location is prime.

During the 11-12 hour move to Rhode Island, with a black cat curled on my lap for the entire duration and having left our origin so late in the evening (think, 4 pm) we inevitably required a short, overnight pit stop.  This Days Inn was about at the halfway point of our travels plus they allowed pets, was in a nice area and, not to mention, was close to one of my most enjoyed malls, the Palisades Center for easy access getting my shop on.  Bingo!

Pulling up to their location, I was super psyched as they had obviously newly renovated their rooms.  The office area was a little musty but the management appeared nice enough.  However once I was given my key and made the quickie drive to the other side of the building I was so, so disappointed.  To put it simply, the front sections are brand spankin' new.. the back.. not so much.  Our room was clean but disappointingly, the mattress had a hole the size of Texas (my cat actually got stuck in it the next morning), the carpet was suitably stained, the mini fridge smelled weirdarific and our new "neighbors" were appallingly gross.  Think, blasting music right outside their room, spit wads aflyin' and just general annoyance.  Unlike the front area to boot, the back rooms are outside (as in, no inside halls, etc) and to add insult to injury, the doors and locks were totally flimsy.  I didn't fear for my existence but I wasn't exactly completely comfortable either.

Overall it wasn't a completely terrible experience but I was led to believe I was getting a little more bang for my buck for the hundred bucks I slapped down.  And while the pictures of the outside building on their website are 100% accurate, there's a reason why they don't show you the backside.
