a hotel in the middle of pennsylvania??? yes. my travels take me to strange places. but hey, this was a good hotel, and it deserves a review. the rooms were very large, very comfortable, and spotless. the wifi is free and the staff is helpful.
the continental breakfast is pretty much a carb-fest straight from the local megamart, but i guess you can't have everything. when are hotels going to start offering english breakfasts? that's the only meal that the english have really nailed, and instead we go with continental? seriously? cereal, donuts, instant oatmeal, waffles (though they were fresh, and that was cool!), and oranges. great. -

Visiting this area, you have tons of hotel choices, but not many compare to this cheap priced spot right on the main strip close to all attractions! The rooms and entire place are spotless and very large and will accomodate your entire family! It sits a few miles from the main visitors center and battlefield and has not only a Perkins eating place in the parking lot, but a Dairy Queen in front as well within walking distance. You can go wrong with this hotel, since it is cheaper than any in the area, and the staff is friendly and helpfull and the continental breakfast is very good! Plus the rooms are very clean and contain double queen beds in most. I would highly recommend this place to any family trying to vacation in the area and they even have tour bus pickups from this spot! A must stay in this area of history!
