Sorry, D...I've given you several chances. I did like one of your combos that my sister-in-law ordered one day. However, I prefer Michael's. Do y'all have a family competition contest?:P My decision was based on the combo I usually order and we compared between the two locations and you lost.

My favorite spot in town. Period. If I cant think of somewhere to eat my fall-back is always David's because they always deliver (no pun intended). From the pizza, to the sandwiches to the pizza sandwiches everything on the menu is good. Good atmosphere, nice servers and TVs all around for the sports fans....Oh yeah, don't forget a side of ranch.
Superb thick crust pizza! I have fond memories of coming here on my high school lunch break and grabbin a slice and splitting an order of delicious ranch and bread sticks with the homies.
Again same review from me from Rick's in Lodi -seeing as they are brothers:
This so not NY style pizza. Ever seen the scene in Saturday Night Fever where John Travolta has the slice walking down the street.......it's so flat and perfect he folds it in half????? That's New York!!!!! This is not. Pizza is decent, but be careful when using New York style as a caption/name. Maybe renaming is the key not to fake out REAL New Yorkers........ tell the brothers okay??
Good pizza, but I prefer to go over to Erics. Not sure if the onwer of this place is trying to cater to the muffy and biff crowd from nearby lincoln or what, but dealing with the waitresses here always make you feel like the odd kid out on the kickball court. I'm never drunk enough when I get here to deal with sorority sisters, and their giggles.
Take out only for me, and only if I am in the area. Dig the redesign though.
Very good pizza. Why is it that every time hubby and I go here, I run into someone I don't care to see?
I guess you have to suffer just a bit to have really good pizza.
Freindly service... David is a super nice guy!

Great, consistent food was a huge part of Stockton's unstoppable pizza tri-force in the late eighties and nineties. Consisting of Rick's, Michael's, and David's (was also Michael's at one point). Three brothers that knew how to make a New York style pizza. Their pizza is like crack.

Who says you can't go home? I go home to this pizza all the time. In fact there are three stops I make when I go to Stockton (my hometown).
1. San Felipe Grill
2. Dave Wong's
3. David's Pizza
That is right, sometimes I don't even go to my parents house. I just get down on some grub.
Anyway, I used to eat pizza from here every Friday night at my house. My mom would have all sorts of kids over to eat pizza and make sure that we were not out causing trouble. I would eat the pizza, slam a soda and go cause trouble. Love you mom.
There is something about this pizza that you can't describe... maybe it tastes like my youth?

I don't get why people like this place so much...mediocre pizza, at best. The garden salad is super, though! In all, I'd rather eat next door at Parkwoods Yogurt (a 5-star joint).
Our favorite for take-out pizza.....the crust is what makes it great!
