Pushy. (But I would still go back). It became clear fairly quickly that the associates here had a certain idea of how they thought our wedding should look. They made a lot of assumptions and when I tried to confirm that no indeed I do NOT need or want a veil they looked at me like I was out of it and totally ignorant. And they had me feeling like I had blown it and not left enough time to get everything done- which turned out not to be the case. Using http://www.theknot.com helped with the to-do list.

Once I shook them off, I was able to find a color I really liked and could invite my bridesmaids to pick out any dress they wanted in that color.

I found my shoes at Macy's (South Park Mall) for half the price I would've paid at David's and I liked the style much better. I still get to wear them regularly.

If the bride gets her dress at David's the bridesmaids get a discount on theirs (but make sure to tell the bridesmaids to ask for it just in case it gets forgotten at checkout). On an even more positive note, my friend who purchased her dress from David's in California was given the benefit of the doubt when they couldn't find record of my dress purchase. (I didn't buy my dress at David's.)
