During my wedding planning year, I was in Milwaukee for the day for other reasons, so I made appointments at several Milwaukee area bridal salons.  One of them was David's Bridal in Brookfield.  I ended up buying my bridesmaid dress from them, even though I was going to have to drive back up to Milwaukee to get it altered.  The service staff was excellent.  I was visiting both to get a dress for a wedding I was standing up in and to check out some of the (then) new styles for the spring.  Despite being swamped, I never felt rushed.  When I told the attendant what I was looking for, she specifically selected dresses that fit my needs.  She gave suggestions like using a sash normally used on bridesmaid dresses to add color to a basic David's dress design.  Honestly, I was *this* close to getting my wedding dress there.  I still lust after the dress/sash combo the consultant set up for me.  If I ever marry again... :)

As is, I bought the bridesmaid dress I needed from them even though the David's in Vernon Hills, IL was much closer to my home.  By comparison, the service at this David's was excellent, so I wanted to give them my business despite the distance.  Highly recommend checking them out if you're in need of bridalwear!
